2 The XI FIP World Polo Championship is coming to Sydney, Australia. 2 Held in the stunning Hawkesbury region of NSW at the prestigious Sydney Polo Club, this is the sporting, family, food and wine event not to be missed. This international event is held over 7 days with 6 days of thrilling international polo matches featuring the best 8 international teams in the world, including host nation Australia and current World Champions Chile. The World Polo Championship is the most significant, high profile and exciting world polo event, and is held every 3 years. Enjoy Australian cultural festivities with a real country feel, with plenty for the family and children to see and experience. Food and wine will be high on the agenda, highlighting the best food and wine from the picturesque Hawkesbury region. There will also be a festival throughout the period with live music, local produce, celebrities, big screens, champagne dash, divot stomping, horse drawn carriage rides, wood chopping, sheep shearing and even jousting competitions! Enjoy the event in a variety of stylish corporate and private marquees, lounge around in the Chukka Club (the young member marquee) or relax in the Polo Sports Bar presented by Pommery whilst listening to live music, blues festival style. Our Hospitality Polo Marquees are designed for hosts who wish to entertain guests in a private and personal location. Space for groups of 20 or more, marquees can be joined together to create a large corporate or private entertaining environment. All Hospitality Polo Marquees are in a prime location for viewing all the action, directly alongside the field of play. This Marquee is ideal for hosting clients and work colleagues, or getting together with a group of friends. 6 days of World Polo Championship action. 20 guest passes, 5 parking passes and event programs each day. 3m x 3m fully enclosed Hospitality Polo Marquee complemented with a garden entrance and lounge area. Large market umbrellas for shade. Choose from one of our indulgent catering and beverage packages. The M2 becomes the M7, take exit for Richmond Road. When Blacktown Road ends, turn into Bourke Street and left on to Windsor Street. Follow Windsor Street through the township of Richmond. The World Championship event signage will lead you to Ridges Lane. Sydney Polo Club is located at the end of Ridges Lane. Bus Transfers: Private and public bus transfers will be available from Sydney CBD and surrounds, look out for updated info on Uber, Taxis & Private Cars: There will be a public pick up and drop off area, look out for updated info on Parking also available onsite. Dress We suggest summer casual with clean looks and smart detailing - sunglasses are a must-have accessory. For the ladies, flowing dresses and wedges or sandals are the norm (heels are best left at home), and a summer hat or accessory is an excellent way to finish off an outfit. For the gents, a tailored shirt matched with dress shorts or chinos, together with loafers or boat shoes achieves a polished yet casual look for the day. Dogs & Pets No pets are allowed onsite unless approved by XI FIP World Polo Championship 2017 Management. Terms & Conditions These Terms and Conditions ( T s and C s ) govern all tickets purchased to the World Polo Championship Sydney 2017 Event ( The Event ) including marquee package tickets. The T s and C s will be printed in an abbreviated form on the tickets and in the case of any conflict between these T s and C s and the abbreviated form, these T s and C s will prevail. The promoter of the Event is World Cup Polo Pty Ltd (WCP) ACN ( The Promoter ) and the official ticketing agent is WCP ticketing agent (collectively The Sellers ). 1. The sale of any ticket is final and nonrefundable except as outlined in condition 6 of these T s and C s. The Sellers reserve the right to not replace or accept any ticket that is lost, stolen, forgotten, damaged, defaced or tampered with. 2. WARNING Polo is a dangerous sport and accidents can happen. There is a risk of an accident causing injury, death or property damage or economic loss. 3. The Ticket Holder assumes all risk associated with or incidental to attendance at the Event (which also includes assuming the risk of participation in any event activities such as sponsor activations) and provides the following release to The Sellers and all other people involved in the conduct, promotion and organization of the Event including sponsors, competitors, staff and the venue operators ( The Released Parties ) (all Released Parties to include where relevant all directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors and affiliated companies and their respective personnel) To the extent permitted by law, I waive all rights, claims, action which I have nor or in the future and release the Released Parties from any personal injury, death (including wrongful death), property damage or loss of any nature whatsoever sustained by me as a result of my attendance at the Event with the exception of any gross negligence of the Released Parties and I will indemnify and keep Indemnified the Released Parties in respect of any legal liability they may have (whether under tort, statute, contract, negligence, equity or otherwise) to any third party which arises from or out of my attendance at the Event or my involvement or participation in any event activities). 4. The Promoter reserves the right to change the format and content of the Event and the Sellers will not be liable to any Ticket Holder for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential damage) suffered as a result or arising from or in any way connected to cancellation, postponement or change to the Event. 5. Subject to condition 6 below, payments made to the Sellers for tickets will not be refunded under any circumstances. For example refunds will not be issued for the non-appearance of a player, a variation or cancellation of part of the program or activities, adverse weather or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Sellers. 6. The Promoter will refund payments made by Ticket Holders for Tickets only if the entire Event is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled or replaced with an alternative offering. 7.Nothing in these T S&C s affects Ticket Holders rights under the Schedule 2 to the Competition Act, 2010 (Cth) or similar legislation regarding consumer guarantees, implied conditions and warranties to the extent that such consumer guarantees, implied conditions or warranties cannot be excluded by law. 8. Marquee Facilities and tickets to the Event must not, without the prior written consent of the Sellers, be offered for resale, resold or packaged or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. 9. Corporate signage permitted to be located outside a non-sponsor marquee is restricted to the front fence identification sign supplied in the package by the promoter World Championship Polo is an over 18 event in all corporate areas. Children are not permitted these sections and attendees will be requested to show valid photo ID. 11. The promoter retains the right to refuse entry or access to the venue and eject patrons at any time. 12. Underage drinkers, excessive drinkers, illegal drug users or patrons displaying antisocial behaviour may be ejected or dealt with by event security and/or police. 13. Purchasers of marquee packages are required to use the promoter appointed official suppliers. WCP s Even t Team is the Event s exclusive on-site hiring company and no other hiring company will be permitted on-site. WCP Catering are the Event caterers and no other unauthorised caterer will be permitted on-site. WCP security team is the Event s exclusive on-site security company and no other security company will be permitted on-site. 14. The following items cannot be brought into the Event without prior written consent from the promoter eskys, cutlery, sharp knives, glassware, alcoholic beverages, tents, tables or market/cafe umbrellas. The following items can be bought into the Event for use in the public viewing area only snack food, drinking water and soft drink in sealed plastic bottles, fold out chairs and picnic rugs. Ticket holders and their property may be inspected for prohibited items on entry or during the event. Tickets holders found with prohibited items may be refused entry, ejected or have those items confiscated. Confiscated items will be donated to charity and will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed. 15. The Event site is an area of TOTAL FIRE BAN. Patron s detected using flame including bbqs, fires or gas bottles may be fined by the Fire Authorities and will be ejected from the Event. 16. Ticket holders attending the Event acknowledge that their name, image and likeness is likely to be photographed or recorded in a number of media not limited to video, audio and still recording ( Images ) and and agrees that perpetual use may be made, free of charge of Images and waives on an irrevocable basis all rights to object to such recording, printing and broadcasting of Images in any media and grants a royalty free licence to The Sellers to use the Ticket holder s image and likeness in relation to any marketing and advertising materials, in any live or recorded television or other media or in any form of reproduction associated in whole or part of the Event. 17. Ticket holder consents to the collection, storage and processing of their personal information in accordance with the World Cup Polo privacy policy ( and such information will be used for the administration of event, and the promotion of the event and until such a time as the Ticket Holder otherwise notifies the sellers, each Ticket Holder consent to receiving future promotional and marketing material from the Sellers. 18. Dogs and other pets are not permitted in Sydney Polo Club event precinct. 8
