2 The Builder Experience and Innovation Since establishing in 2004, JonBuild has built a reputation of constructing quality projects throughout Queensland and New South Wales. It s this extensive experience and high caliber performance, which has resulted in the rapid expansion of our portfolio. 3 JonBuild has been established since June This company was set up as a design and construction business with the vision of creating high caliber projects. JonBuild aims to deliver high quality sustainable dwellings that are considered to be of superior quality and affordable to both Investor and Owner Occupier. JonBuild has constructed in both Queensland and New South Wales over 1000 dwellings of various types consisting of houses, apartments and townhouses. We strive to work with our clients to achieve optimal outcomes through regular communication, better planning design and economical construction. 4 The Team The core and passion of Jon-Build is about being builders first. It s this drive that determines our success and helps manage the challenges we inevitably face in the dynamics of a construction environment. Our staff began their career as carpenters, graduates, or from generations in the building industry, building being the core activity. Jonbuild believes their success is only as good as the people employed, team members are provided with interesting and challenging work in a safe and productive environment, and are actively encouraged to broaden their knowledge of products and processes in line with new trends and methods. This establishes technically sound, economically viable and environmentally suitable processes. Continually updating knowledge and processes, our environmental capabilities benefits our business. Providing the ability to assess the effects of our activities and to integrate environmentally sustainable considerations into all managerial decision-making aspects of planning, construction and operations. Small Works is managed and operated by a dedicated group of specialists in this area of construction, providing a committed team for our clients and establishing long term relationships. Our construction and design invests in the history of each project s environment and purpose, ensuring that the end result meets the vision. Jon-Build s efficiency in design, development, construction and marketing of residential property has rapidly expanded our portfolios. Our architectural design and quality has proven to our Contractors that we are about affordability without compromising the quality of our infrastructure.

8 The Workplace Health and Safety Effective workplace health and safety plays an integral part of achieving our objectives. Safety awareness, safety attitude and continually updating procedures as per industry conditions, ensures that new processes and procedures are introduced and regulated. Health & Safety awareness and implementation is fundamental to each project s success. We consider the significance of the health and safety of those we directly employ, subcontract to and site visitors/guests. All at-risk operations are identified, assessed and measures are developed to attempt to alleviate any unsafe practices, preventing incidents occurring. We require all of our employees to regard incident prevention and working safely as a collective and individual responsibility. Jon-Build and its team endeavour to comply with all relevant legislation, codes of practice and standards, incorporating other requirements placed upon us by our clients and developers; and go above and beyond where necessary to achieve a safe, productive and healthy workplace..

10 The Management Structure Jacqueline Buelvas-Isaza Director and Marketing Manager Ba. Psychology (Minor Marketing) Cert IV Property Services (Real Estate) With a degree in psychology and marketing combined with experience in the Real Estate Industry, Jaqueline has pioneered the establishment of a successful company within the building industry she develops and strengthens relationships through recognition of others to benefit the business. Her role within the company is to liaise, consult and negotiate with Associates, the Banks, Accountants, Council Departments, and Contractors. Jon Taouk CEO Ba. App. Sc (Construction Management) Cert IV Building and Construction jon@jonbuild.com.au Manager of all aspects with the construction projects, from concept through to commissioning. Jon oversees and advises throughout the entire operation for profitability of operations, contracting and negotiations. Elie Chebib Contract Manager Ba. Civil Engineer elie@jonbuild.com.au Elie has diverse experience within the sectors of the construction industry in conjunction with his Civil Engineering degree. He has worked in the construction of facilities for education, retirement/aged care, commercial, retail, residential, hospitality/entertainment and transport. His experience also encompasses the sales of building products, drafting and construction labour. Elie has a passion for delivering high-quality projects and accuracy in both his drafting and measurements. He makes it his mission to understand all products used in each project development including the specification for each product and their benefits. Having a thorough knowledge of all materials and machinery used on development sites. This experience allows Elie to adapt easily to a wide variety of construction sectors and positions, having the knowledge in the diversity of projects and roles from Construction Supervisor to managing multiple development sites at once to being the Contract Manager. 11 George Tawk Site Manager Cert IV Building and Construction With over 20 years in the construction industry, George is our senior Site Manager and Builder. His life passion is building and chooses to be onsite at arm s length and having all hands on deck where the action is. George started as a labourer from a young age being involved in health and safety programs, developing skills in the movement of construction developments and knowing the related rules and laws. George can resolve and pre-determine the inevitable construction dilemmas. His onsite Construction Management extends past our metropolitan works to retirement/aged care, residential, commercial and retail sectors, building new projects from scratch to refurbishment of existing sites, to mining projects and road works both here and abroad. Having a broad industry experience, strategic approach and the long list of relationships he has formed within the building industry, incumbent with worked and held management positions, George s experience generated from his exposure to key projects is invaluable. Damien Habchi Site Manager Cert IV Building and Construction Cert IV Work Health and Safety damien@jonbuild.com.au Damien has worked 15 years in the construction industry, his experience involves a diverse range from building residential housing to multi- level apartment projects. His expertise in understanding the functionality of Australian homes and building is paramount to his success. Matthew Hutton Site Supervisor matt@jonbuild.com.au As JonBuild s Site Supervisor, Matt s responsibility is to ensure quality control on site, recording data, personnel management, and dispatching of orders for site deliveries. Assisting in quality control, designing and developing solutions for technical constructions procedures. Juan Salazar Architect and Design Manager B. Arts (Architecture) Registered Architect juan@jonbuild.com.au In house architecture allows us to be more competitive with our feasibility studies. Offering complete management of architectural plans, schematics, spacing planning, design and construction documentation and specifications to lodgement for certifying stages of the project. Juan s proficiency in liaising with the Council and Engineers and ability to interpret a Clients vision, including providing various concepts to enhance quality for our clients is an asset to Jon-Build. Having an architect skilled in many programs, ArchiCad, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, not only allows Jon-Build to visualize our projects, but also reduce defects in the construction phase. Juan is part of the marketing design development in decision making and production. Producing competitive advertising, such as but not limited to brochures, signs, photos. His attitude and success in leadership and management style inspires the personnel and sub-contractors on site, achieving high-quality project delivery every time. Damien prides himself on his leadership, effective communication, and thorough supervision. He enjoys focusing on logical and effective decision making when required, through to solving problems with the construction works.

12 Billy Palmene Safety Officer Diploma and Cert IV in Work Health and Safety Leader in HSE Contract Management, ensures Leader in HSE Contract Management, ensures compliance with all safety, building and OSHA regulations. Support for development of HSE and risk management plan for specific subcontractor, and labourers with Contract Manager. Billy values his responsibility for personnel on sites, auditing of internal process and investigating and mitigate reoccurrence of incidences onsite. Having background experience in: Machinery skills Mobile crane code of practice 2011 Tower cranes code of practice 2011 Electrical safety regulations 2011 Marine and Environmental Billy designs workplace systems to enhance the construction flow to meet time frames. He maintains the required logging reports suitable for each project. Penny Hatchman Administration Accounts Manager Dip Grad Business Admin, FGAA, Commissioner Declarations Qld With over 30 years experience in a diverse range of administration roles both in general and managerial positions, Penny offers a complete management and administrative solution to the business. Having experience in a wide range of fields, such as contract reports, property settlements, financial planning, customer service and sales, Penny chose to specialize in accounts management in recent years. Designing report plans suitable for the company s requirements, via, Microsoft Office Suite, and MYOB. Also organizing and designing suitable financial records for each construction project. Penny oversees all settlements of property sales for our developers. With the ability to communicate in all levels of business, she is instrumental in ensuring the satisfaction of all parties is achieved. Penny has the proven ability to research, implement and maintain systems and policies in ahead of, in response to, and in accordance to government and business requirements.
