2 Job description Job title: Marketing Manager Grade: 4 ivision: Reporting to: Marketing and Commercial Senior Marketing Manager - Qualifications Responsible for: Marketing xecutives x 2 Major objectives To manage and deliver effective marketing communications to directly impact the business plan targets. To work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate communications channels and messages are used to deliver on objectives. To develop communications which ensure the AAT brand is visible, respected and valued and to position AAT as a partner with authority. Responsibilities Manage and deliver effective communications Responsible for creating integrated marketing communication plans across target audiences to directly influence business KPIs. This activity includes: plan, manage and implement end to end delivery of campaigns to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget work with teams across AAT to take and produce briefs with clear objectives and messages develop an in-depth understanding of customers and product offerings to create targeted and personalised communications based on knowledge, insight and previous campaign results advise and select the most appropriate communication channels based on campaign objectives and analytics write engaging copy across all channels, including print, website, social and work with the design team and external agencies to produce and distribute communications proactively identify areas for improvement within the customer journey and work with teams across the organisation on development and delivery continually review, analyse and test, to implement learnings into future communications.

3 This role focuses on the following target audiences: Training providers and assessment venues: manage and deliver all training provider communications and branding across all channels including tutor forums, communications, direct mail and events, working with direct reports as appropriate develop an in depth understanding of the most effective ways to communicate with the different roles within training providers, to support them in delivering our qualifications support internal teams to provide engaging content for training providers through events and webinars work closely with the Regional Account Managers to support them in securing new training providers and building strong relationships with existing providers ensure content provided from internal teams is communicated in a consistent, easy to understand way, while also meeting regulatory requirements manage website content to deliver an effective online experience for training providers. Students: manage student communications delivered by direct report to provide study support, guidance and motivation to students, primarily through a complex weekly e-newsletter ensure messages to students and training providers are aligned and delivered in a consistent manner. Prospects: manage prospect communications delivered by direct report, as directed by Senior Marketing Manager, to support communications activity aimed at gaining new students. People management Manage, motivate and support two direct reports individually and as part of the Brand Communications team to deliver the schedule of projects to a high standard, as set out by the Senior Marketing Manager. evelop direct reports, including training and development plans, coaching on the job and delegating effectively. Relationship management Act as an internal consultant working with AAT colleagues on the appropriateness of communications, especially channels and messages, for achieving objectives. Use reports and analytics to influence internal customers, to ensure the most appropriate marketing channels and messages are used. evelop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues within the Marketing and Commercial ivision and across AAT so as to promote the reputation of the ivision as the centre of excellence for AAT s marketing. To provide assistance where appropriate to other members of the Marketing ivision. Financial and project management To ensure that all projects are managed to timescales and budget, as set out by the Senior Marketing Manager. Contributing to, and working to, 90-day plans to ensure projects are delivered within the quarterly budget period. To work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure business targets are met through effective budget management
