2 Introduction The Toronto South African Film Festival (TSAFF) is a non-profit event organized by a team of passionate volunteers who have a strong sense of giving back to the community. TSAFF has come together to support a common cause - education and children! TSAFF is a fundraising initiative in support of the important educational development work Education without Borders (EWB), a Canadian foundation, has been doing in South Africa since We are thrilled to announce the fourth annual Toronto South African Film Festival will take place on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday October 15, 2017 at TIFF Bell LightBox in Toronto.
3 Our Purpose All proceeds go to benefit. EWB is a Canadian-based non-profit foundation created in EWB s mandate is to foster educational opportunities and provide educational facilities to the disadvantaged regions of the world.
4 Our programs inculcate a love of learning but also empower children, youth and their communities. We are hopeful for the future!

8 Impact of Your Fundraising Dollars TSAFF is a non-profit event organized by volunteers. All net proceeds go to Education without Borders. Priority projects and programs include: The expansion of Foundational English, Math and Life Skills programs in multiple locations in South Africa The Sisonke Leadership Program (with Educo Africa) School management and administration support The building of critical infrastructure at Fezeka Secondary School Reaching multiple locations in South Africa Hiring additional staff to support the expansion of the program The Aboriginal Scholarship Fund Providing after-school programs to students at both Fezeka and newly expanded locations.
