Since 2008 there have been nearly 140 hours of aircraft displays The Red Arrows have displayed 30 times since 2008 When Taking place 31st August to 3rd September 2017, the UK s leading seaside resort plays host to the spectacular and award-winning aviation inspired Bournemouth Air Festival. Background Staged for the first time in 2008, the event now has a worldwide reputation for excellence and a first class team behind its delivery. With commitment from the Armed Forces, more than 20 hours of flying, trading from 10am - 10pm*, dusk displays and live music the Festival sets itself apart from any other events. The Air Festival is free to view event, the only tickets sold are for the concerts at Boscombe Pier, organised in conjunction with commercial radio partner Wave105. *Until 6pm on Sunday What happens The event site, located between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers, hosts 1.5miles of trading and brand engagement opportunities alongside exhibition stands, catering and fantastic interactive military villages. The flying display programme features with world s best military and civilian aviation display teams and, out at sea, a huge offshore naval presence unique to Bournemouth. When the sun goes down, Night Air brings fantastic, magical entertainment with sparkling dusk displays, fireworks, Royal Navy performances, and chart-topping live music. In quotes... Fireworks sponsorship Festival Hospitality Bring your brand to hundreds of business people by taking ownership of the Air Festival Hospitality marquee. Located on the seafront at the centre of the flight line, Festival Hospitality presents a number of creative opportunities for your brand. You could transform the marquee into your own branded village area, hold a VIP day for clients or host a fundraising event. Branding rights for four days and three nights- 12,000 (+VAT). Air Festival TV Air Festival TV broadcasts the live air displays, pilot interviews and other onsite promotions to a number of large screens located throughout 1.5mile festival site. Sponsorship opportunities include screen branding, onscreen commercials and tickertape messaging packages start from 6,000 (+VAT). Air Festival Radio Air Festival Radio broadcasts the display commentary across a dedicated frequency (87.7FM) and internet. In 2016 organisers are planning to introduce a complimentary earpiece with every brochure sold, (est. 20,000 print run) tuned into Air Festival Radio. As part of the Night Air entertainment, fantastic firework displays take place on Friday and Saturday night - sponsorship package from 2,000 (+VAT). Bannering There is huge scope for bannering throughout the Air Festival site namely the cliff top, beach and town centre. Packages start from 2,000 (+VAT).
