The day can be sponsored or designated in honor of an entity such as an individual, organization, business, etc., by pairing the sponsorship with a meaningful day or anniversary. 6 Become a Sponsor Today Vist the on Your Sponsorship Day Volunteer Option Monday - Saturday, sponsors can provide up to 18 volunteers on their sponsorship day, with 8 people for the 7-10 a.m. food preparation shift and 10 people for 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. food service shift. On Sunday, sponsors can provide up to 8 volunteers from 7-11 a.m. Volunteer commitment must be made and guaranteed at least 30 days prior to the sponsorship day to ensure the number of volunteers can be accommodated. A volunteer group representative will be required to meet in person with the Volunteer Coordinator prior to the volunteer day to coordinate registration of the group.
