Trade eases 2p/kg with R grades 338p/kg 345p/kg. Firms beginning to become conscious of where cattle are going to come from for 6 weeks with lots of cattle being left out to use up grass and not necessarily conductive to fattening. Aberdeen Angus to 390p/kg, Hereford 355p/kg, Shorthorns 365p/kg and Holsteins to 313p/kg (-O s). Steers A good variety of breeds traded. Quality sorts in short supply. British Blue X s way in front topping at 1618 (-U3) and 1522 (-U3). Limousin X s selling to 1436 (R4L) and 1361 (R3). A good number of native bred sorts traded. Aberdeen Angus led the way at 1480 (R4L) and 1458 (R4L). Hereford X to 1343 (R4) and 1307 (R4H), Shorthorn X s to 1311 (R4L), Sussex X to 1293 (R4L) and Longhorn X to 1234 (R4L).
