The report provides guidace o required certificates for food products shipped to the Uited Arab Emirates. It is highly recommeded that U.S. exporters verify the full set of import requiremets with their foreig customers, who are ormally best equipped to research such matters with local authorities, before ay goods are shipped.

Some U.S. exporters have had difficulty obtaiig health certificates, especially for processed ad cosumerready food products. Exporters are ecouraged to obtai health certificates i accordace with local import regulatios. The decisio to utilize the free sale certificate is oly applicable whe exporters are ot able to secure the regular health certificate. Sectio II. Purpose of Specific Export (s) See Sectio I above Sectio III. Specific Attestatios Required o Export (s) Halal slaughter ad health certificates for meats ad poultry ad their products are ot required to be otarized by the Arab America Chamber of Commerce i the U.S. or the U.A.E. Sometimes importers are allowed to have the documets set to their baks.
