The rate include cost of all materials and labour except the cost of rails. Rails required for the fabrication of glued Joints shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL at Meja TPP Store. The rails are required to be transported by contractor's own transporting arrangement from the stack of rails available at RITES/MUNPL Meja store to the works for fabrication/manufacture of glued Joints and after getting manufactured/fabricated by approved manufacturer/fabricator, the same will be transported to RITES/MUNPL Meja Store. The item also includes all transportation of materials i.e Rails,Sleepers etc from site store, spreading of Rails, Sleepers etc., cutting of rails & straightening of rails (where ever required). also includes drilling and chamfering of holes in rails using drilling machine & chamfering kit, ensuring correct sleeper spacing, laying of sleepers to correct gauge, alignment, longitudinal and cross-levels and fastening of fish bolts, fish plates, fixing of rubber pads with approved adhesive, fixing of liners and ERC, greasing of ERC as per IRPWM Para 1411(5)a with Graphite grease specification IS GR "O" including fixing of slide chairs, bearing plates, check blocks, heel blocks, etc., complete including fixing of connecting rods as required, fixing of Z anchors, stretcher bars etc., making the point ready for operation, straightening by Jim crowing of switches if necessary, paint marking of sleeper spacing on gauge face of the rails, painting and lettering of month and year of laying, point number near toe of switch, cutting of rail pieces of suitable length, fixing of two rail pieces per point opposite to the actual toe of Switch as per IRPWM Para 237 (l) to function as creep posts with saw marking on top of rail pieces, giving required bend in stock rails ahead of toe of switch (if required), greasing /oiling of fish plates and fish bolts as per IRPWM Para 241, provision of correct expansion gaps according to temperature etc. The item includes supply and providing point screw clamp with each set of points and crossing as per relevant RDSO Drawings. The spacing of the sleepers shall be suitably adjusted as directed by Engineer-in-charge at site. Page 4

The rates excludes supply of complete set of PSC sleepers, approach sleepers, exit sleepers and longer sleepers for point machines, welding of joints, supply of CMS crossing and Glued Joints/Insulated Joint which will be paid for separately under relevant items Rails required for the work i.e. for fabrication of switch assembly and check rails shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL at Meja TPP store. The rails are required to be transported by contractor's own transporting arrangement from the stack of rails available at MUNPL Meja TPP store to the works for fabrication/manufacture of switches and check rails and after getting manufactured/fabricated by approved manufacturer/fabricator, the same will be transported to MUNPL Meja store.the item includes all transportation. Note: (1) CMS crossings, welding of rails and PSC sleepers will be paid separately as against relevant items of schedule and Rails will be supplied by owner. (2) Contractor may use Mechanized system of turnout laying using machines as per respective operating manual. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account. Track Ballast required for the work shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL free of cost at Meja TPP store. The track ballast shall be required to be transported by contractor's own transporting arrangement from the stacks of track ballast available at MUNPL Meja TPP store. The item includes all transportation. Rate Amount (a) First through conventional packing Per Set (b) Second through conventional packing. The item includes supply and fixing of all fittings & fastenings for 60 kg Rails on 60 kg PSC Sleepers ( ERC - T 3701, GRSP - T 3711, GFN Liner - T- 3706). The item does not include fish plates 1.0m long as per RDSO drawing no with bolts & nuts as per RDSO drawing no.t- 1899, which will be paid under relevant supply item. Track Metre The item includes all leads, lifts, crossing of tracks, handling, rehandling, transportation of Rails and permanent way materials from identified owner's stock yard of RITES/MUNPL to the site of work, pairing of SWP/ Single Rail, straightening of rails, drilling of holes, chamfering holes in Rails and cutting of Rails (if required), paint marking of correct sleeper spacing on gauge face of base Rail, painting, writing of station numbers on curves 10m apart on the inside web and foot of the outer Rails, realigning the same including fixing steel curve boards on approaches of the curve fixed at tangent point on the out side of the curve, duly painted with curve details as per direction of Engineer in charge, greasing/ oiling of fish plates and fish bolts as per IRPWM Para 241, providing correct expansion gaps, according to temperature at the time of installation. Sleepers spacing shall be suitably adjusted as per direction of Engineer in charge. The fish plated joint shall conform to relevant RDSO standard drawing Greasing of ERC as per IRPWM para 1411(5)a with graphite grease specification IS grade 'O'. The item includes transportation and spreading of stacked PSC Sleepers. The item excludes Rate Amount Page 7

10 TENDER NO.: RITES/RPO-LKO/5920/MUNPL/5A Schedule 2 As Amended under Amendment 2 dated Brief Description of Unit Quantity Rate Amount cost of PSC Sleepers, glued joints/ insulated joints, welding, testing of welded Rail joint, fixing of check rails for curves and level crossings. These will be paid for separately under relevant items provided in the schedule. New Rails/ SH Rails / Released Rails required for the work shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL at Meja TPP store. Glued joint, welding and check Rails shall be paid under relevant items. Note :- (1) Fish plates & its bolts will be paid seperately against relevant items of schedule. (2) Contractor may use Mechanized system of track laying using machines as per respective operating manual. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account. 2.4 Through packing of PSC sleepers with track ballast to maintain correct alignment, cross and longitudinal level as required for maintaining track gauge, versine, super elevation etc. on both straight and curve track with contractors tools and labour inclusive of all charges as per IRPWM and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Through packing of trap/derailing switch is included in this item without any extra payment for the same. Track Ballast required for the work shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL free of cost at Meja TPP store. The track ballast shall be required to be transported by contractor's own transporting arrangement from the stacks of track ballast available at MUNPL Meja TPP store. 11 TENDER NO.: RITES/RPO-LKO/5920/MUNPL/5A Schedule 2 As Amended under Amendment 2 dated Brief Description of Unit Quantity 2.5 Fabricating, supplying, assembling & laying on prepared formation/ ballast bed 60 Kg BG 6400mm over siding of derailing switch as per RDSO Drawing no. T-6068 with owner's Rails and supplied and stacked PSC Sleeper as per complete item with all fitting & fastening and initial packing. Rails for fabrication of switches and fabrication of check Rails shall be provided by the Owner. Rails required for the work i.e. for fabrication of switch assembly shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL at Meja TPP store. The rails are required to be transported by contractor's own transporting arrangement from the stack of rails available at RITES/MUNPL Meja store to the works for fabrication/manufacture of switches and check rails and after getting manufactured/fabricated by approved manufacturer/fabricator, the same will be transported to RITES/MUNPL Meja store. The item includes all transportation. Rate Amount Per Set Handling, lifting, loading, unloading, leading and spreading stacked track ballast in two layers including light rolling of bed to a uniform level by using 5 to 10 Ton light rollers (minimum two passes) for preparation of ballast bed of required thickness for giving ballast cushion of 350/ 300mm. The ballast shall be lead from existing stacks to the proposed formation of the track and spread there to make ballast bed for the track including subsequent making up of ballast cushion after linking, packing of track as required to make proper ballast profile on straight or on curves including ballast in shoulders and cribs as a complete job. Quantity of ballast used in track shall be paid for as per measurement of Stacked Ballast, for this item. Cum Page 9

12 TENDER NO.: RITES/RPO-LKO/5920/MUNPL/5A Schedule 2 As Amended under Amendment 2 dated Brief Description of Unit Quantity 2.7 Welding of rail joints of IRS T-12 60kg rail with Short Pre Heat, Thermit Welding (SKV) process on the cess or insitu including USFD test of all welded joints and painting as specified in IRS specification of fusion welding of rail by AT process to IRS T-19/1994 and Manual for fusion welding of rails by AT process, The item includes USFD testing of all joints as per specifications. Note: Contractor may also do Flash Butt welding of joints using mobile flash butt welding Plant as per Railway Standards / relevant manual. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account. Rate Amount Each Extra for transverse breaking load test of Thermit welded joints as per clause 4 of IRS specification T-19 including all labour and material complete. The contractor has to arrange the testing of joints from the approved laboratory/test house. After testing test pieces of rails to be returned back to MUNPL/RITES store. Each Fabrication, erection and fixing of dead ends as per drawing. The item includes drilling of holes in rails, including transporting and fixing of rail pieces across the track at specified height and all other fixtures as per approved plan, including painting, all lead, lift, transportation, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in charge. Rails required for the work shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL at MEJA TPP store. The item includes all transportation of rails. Each Making new epoxy levelling layer of 13.6mm for a width of 400 mm over laid concrete beam of track hopper (rail bearer) to match with the desired level with Araldite Gy-257, Hardener Hy-840, Hardener Hy-960 and Quartz sand Mix-10 in the proportion of 100:50:2:800 by weight to be applied over a priming coat of Araldite Gy- 257 and Hardener Hy-840 in the proportion of 100:50 and one top coat over the leveling layer with Araldite Gy-257, Hardener Hy-840 and Hardener Hy-960 in the proportion of 100:50:2. Rate includes the cost of all materials, labor and T&P required. Per Metre Beam Page 10

T-381 MS Metal Liners to IRS Specification & to RDSO Drg. T-3740 Elactic rail clips to IRS Specifications T-31/1992 and to RDSO Drg. T mm thick Grooved Rubber Sole Plate to IRS Specifications. 1.0m ling fish plate for 60kg rails to relevant RDSO standard Drawing including fish bolts and nuts. The laid track should maintain proper gauge alignment, level (both cross and longitudinal), expansion gap at rail joints. The item includes dekinking of rails as required, cutting of rails as required on straight for squaring of joints, drilling holes on web of rail square to rail surface by using proper template for fish plated joints, greasing of eye holes and MCI inserts, ERC, fishing zone of rail joint including bolts and nuts. The item includes supply of grease, oil etc. for lubrications of rail joints. The item also includes fixing of grooved rubber sole plates under the rail seats through out the length of the track with Araldite Gy-257 and also grouting of holes for fixing SG CI inserts with reson mortar (Araldite, Hardener & quartz sand in proportion 100 : 50 : 350). Rails required for the work shall be provided by RITES/MUNPL at MEJA TPP store. The item includes all transportation of rails. The item does not include Welding of rails which will be paid for separately under relevant item of Schedule (Bill) of quantity Fabricating, supplying, painting, lettering and fixing in position the following items : (a) Fouling marks as per drawings made of RCC M-15 Each Page 11

Each Painting of rail surface complete except the rail table with protective paint one coat of zinc chromate primer to Railway specifications followed by two coats of bituminous emulsion to specification IRS-P as per IRPWM Para 250. The item includes removing and cleaning the rail from dust and rust before applying paint. The rate also includes supply of paint, consumables and tools etc. RM Total Page 12
