PART- I (CIVIL WORKS) Schedule -A (Railway formation work) Sl 1 Dressing surface (average excavation or filling Sqm ,15, upto 15 cm) including removing vegetation in all kind of soil. Payment against this item is to be made only if it is not included in earth work item. 2 Felling of trees of girth ( meausured at a height Each , of 1m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material.(beyond 30 cm girth upto and including 60cm girth) 3 Earthwork in cutting (classified) in formation, trolley refuges, side drains, level crossing approaches, platforms, catch water drains, diversion of nallah & finishing to required dimension and slopes to obtain a neat appearance to standard profile inclusive of all labour, machine & materials and removing & leading all cut spoils either to make spoil dumps beyond 10m from cutting edge or for filling in embankment with all leads within the section limit, lifts, ascent, descent, loading, unloading, all taxes/royalty, clearance of site and all incidental charges, bailing & pumping out water, if required, etc. complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The work is to be executed as per latest / updated edition of "Guidelines for Earthwork in Railway Projects" issued by RDSO, Lucknow. Cut trees shall be property of BTPP and to be deposited in the BTPP godown unless specified otherwise Cum ,89, in the Special Conditions of Contract. te - (i) All usable earth arising from cut spoils shall be led into bank formation and Unusable spoils shall be dumped / stacked (ii) All hard rock /and boulders not fit for filling will be stacked by the contractor and will be property of the BTPP. 6 4 Earthwork in filling in embankment, guide bunds, around buried type abutments, bridge gaps, trolley refuges, rain bunds, if provided, platforms etc. with excavated from outside BTPS/BTPP boundary entirely arranged by the contractor at his own cost as per RDSO's latest guidelines and specifications and special condition of contract including all leads, royalty, lifts, ascents, descents, crossing of nallahs or any other obstructions. The rates shall include all dressing of bank to final profile, demarcation and setting out of profile, site Cum ,31, clearance, removing of shrubs, roots of vegetations growth, heavy grass, benching of existing slope of old bank, all handling/rehandling, taxes, octroi and royalty etc. as a complete job. Cut trees shall be property of BTPP and to be deposited in the BTPP godown unless specified otherwise in the Special Conditions of Contract. 5 Supplying, laying, spreading & compacting cum ,11, Blanketing material as per RDSO specification over the embankent / cutting in layer of 30 cm in loose state to make the embankment of designed profile as per approved drawing and specification. The rate shall include cost of material, all lead, lift ascent, descent, testing, supply of labour, royalty/taxes, initial site clearance, cutting of shrubs, removal of roots of vegetation growth & heavy grass, surfacing & leveling to give required slope, benching, if required on existing bank slope, dressing and finishing of bank, final dressing of slopes and top surface as per specified camber using contractor s own machinery, equipment, T&P, labour etc. as a complete job. Measurement shall be recorded for the compacted layer of blanketing material on pre & post work level. 6 Extra for mechanical compaction of Cum ,02, earth/blanketing material filled in embankment with contractor s rollers of suitable capacity, type and size to achieve specified density as per specification, testing as per IS codes including cost of water, T&P, consumable material and all labour as a complete job. 8 5 Providing and laying in position machine mixed, machine vibrated and machine batched Design Mix Cement Concrete M35 grade (Cast in-situ) in bottom/top slab, side walls, toe wall and sumps haunch filling head walls or any other component using contractor's cement, 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and coarse sand of approved quality of cast in-situ RCC box of size upto 5m (bigger inside dimension) including finishing, Admixtures in recommended proportions (as per IS:9103), if approved in Mix design, to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability, complete as per drawings and technical specifications as directed by Engineer in charge. 14 2 Laying BG straight or curve track with following rail section (SWR of 33m to 40m rail pannel) and concrete sleeper (M+7) density with standard fittings ensuring correct spacing of sleepers, fixing and tightening of fish bolts & nuts and maintaining proper gauge, alignment, level (both cross & longitudinal), expansion gap at rail joints, super elevation as necessary and with 1 initial through packing. The rate should be inclusive of dekinking of rails as required, cutting of rails as required on a straight and curve track for a squiring of joints, derailing holes on wave of rail a squire to rail surface by using proper template for fish plated joint, champhering of drilled holes, greasing and oiling of fish plates & fish bolts and nuts at the fishing zone of the rail ends including supply of grease oil etc. sleeper spacing, versine, super elevation etc shall also be marked by the contractor with white paint at his own cost. the work has to be carried out as laid down in IRPWM and as per direction of EIC at site. 15 4 Assembling, linking and laying in position B.G.Standard 60 kg/52 kg turn-outs on P.S.C. sleepers including approach & exit PSC sleeper portion to correct alignment & gauge.this includes switches lead rails, stock rails both straight and curve, crossing with 60 kg/52 kg rails and standard fittings ensuring correct spacing of sleepers fixing & tightening of Fish bolts & nuts and maintaining proper guage, expansion gap at rail joints and with one initial through packing. The rate should be inclusive of dekinking of rails as required, bending stock rails, cutting of rails to required standard size and drilling holes on web of rails square to rail surface by using proper template (for fixing fishplates, distance block, stretcher bars), greasing and oiling of fish plates & fish bolts and nuts and at fishing zone of the rail ends including supply of grease, oil etc. complete in all respects. The rate should also be inclusive of carrying rails, sleepers, switches, crossings, fittings & fastenings with all lead, lift, ascent, descent crossing Road/Rly line if necessary from Client/RITES Store Depot to Site of work within a distance of 1 km. Sleeper spacing shall also be marked by the contractor with white/yellow paint at his own cost. The work has to be carried out as laid down in IRPWM and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge at site. i 1 in 8.5 turn out Set ,01, ii 1 in 8.5 derailing switch Set ,09, Through Packing of 1 in 8.5 Turn out/ Symterical split on any kind of sleeper with stone ballast to maintain correct alignment, cross and longitidunal level as required for maintaining track gauge, versine, super elevation, etc., on both straight and curve track laid with contractors tools & labour inclusive of all charges as per IRPWM and as directed by EIC (NOTE:- Length of Turn Out will be considered from stock rail joint to the rail joint after 4th exit sleeper i 1 st thorough packing Set ,89, Page 15 of 21

Drilling holes on web by drilling machine as per requirement. Fixing the check rail to inner side of both the running rails of level crossing with the help of C.I. Bracket bolts & nuts and plate screw at an interval as directed by EIC maintaining proper check rail clearance and fixing them on concrete sleeper.(rail will be provided by RITES/Employer free of cost. 8 Construction of RCC Buffer as per RITES drawing including supply of reinforcement, cement, buffer wooden sleepers (2.75mX0.3mX0.2m), bolts and nuts, washers and all other materials. The rate should also include painting of buffer wooden sleeper with approved quality red paint. The rate should also be inclusive of digging of foundation trenches, shuttering and formafinishing with all leads, lift, ascent, descent etc. complete.(as per RITES drawing) RM ,74, Each ,93, Page 16 of 21

The rate is inclusive of all materials like cement, stone agreegates, sand and paints etc, with all incidental works required for fixing in position complete in all respects. 11 Making and fixing in position cement concrete (1:2:4) Kilometre/Curve/Gradient pillar as per enclosed drawing with proper painting and lettering as per directives of the Engineer-in-Charge of the work. The rate is inclusive of all materials like cement, stone agreegates, sand and paints etc., earth work in excavation and all incidental works required for fixing in position complete in all respects. 12 Supply & delivery of Machine crushed Ballast from black stone of 50 mm size clean angular, hard and durable track ballast as per specification and stacking the same on cess of the formation or toe of the bank or at suitable place as directed by EIC at site. The rate includes all cost of lead, lift, royalty, salestax and other tax and duties and all incidental charges complete as applicable. Tools, Plants and screens of aproved mesh and dimensions required for inspection and passing at the time of measurement are to be arranged by the contractor. The rate also includes leveling of ground, if necessary, where the ballast are to be stacked.te: 90% payment shall be released on the net quantity accepted and balance 10% shall be released after spreading.
