6 Schedule 2 (Supply & Spreading of Track Ballast) Sl. Description of Item Unit Qnty 1 Supply, delivery and stacking of Cu.m ,08,00, machine crushed 65mm gauge, clean, hard, angular and durable stone ballastas per specification and stacking the same on cess of formation or Toe of bank or at suitable places as direted by Engineerin -in-charge at Site. The rate includes all cost of lead lift, Royality, Sales Tax, and other taxes and duties and all incidental charges, complete as applicable, with all contractor's labour, tools, plant and machinery etc. complete as per RDSO specification. The rate also include levelling of ground if necessary, where the ballast are to be stacked.and follow the guide line of RDSO. 2 Handling, lifting and leading of Cu.m ,9, ballast from stacks within all lead,lift,ascent,descent,crossing Road/Rly lines etc. which have been duly measured and released for spreading and spreading the ballast on formation to ensure uniform and compact ballast cushion under the sleepers. The rate shall include spreading of ballast as per specified line and level and maintaining approved profile as provided in the technical specifications. Spreading of ballast on formation will be done only after supply is completed for a particular stretch as decided by Engineer in charge and ballast stacks have been released for spreading. Quantity of ballast used and payment thereof shall be made for the net quantity of ballast. Total of Schedule 2 (Rs.) 1,17,90,000 6

7 Schedule 3 (Laying & Linking of Track) Sl. The rate should be inclusive of dekinking of rails as required, cutting of rails as required on straight and curve track for squaring of joints, drilling holes on web of rail square to rail surface by using proper template for fish plated joints, champhering of drilled holes, greasing and oiling of fish plates & fish bolts and nuts and at fishing zone of the rail ends including supply of grease oil etc. Sleeper spacing, versine, super elevation etc shall also be marked by the contractor with white paint at his own cost. The work has to be carried out as laid down in IRPWM and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge at site. The unit of track metre consists both sides rails, sleepers and all other fittings required thereof including provision of reference pillar at 100m apart on cess of the formation 7

Through packing of any kind of sleepers with stone ballast to maintain correct alignment cross and longitudinal level as required for maintaining track gauge, versine, superelevation etc. on both straight and curve track laid with contractor's tools and labour inclusive of all charges as per IRPWM and as directed by Engineer-in-charge a) 1st through packing Track Metre b) 2nd through packing Track Metre c) 3rd through packing (Under specific orders of Engineer-incharge) Track Metre d) 4th through packing (Under specific orders of Engineer-incharge) 5. Dismantling of existing B.G.Track of 52Kg or any section of rails with any kind & any density of sleepers with fittings and fastenings. The rate should be inclusive of cutting of rails, fish plates, bolts & nuts, if necessary, for dismantling of track. Replaced materials should be segregated and are to be kept separately i.e. Rails, Sleepers, fastenings etc. by the side of the track or as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including dismantling of rail claster, if any 6. Dismantling of existing Points & Crossing of 52Kg ( 1 in 12 ) on any type of Sleepers with fittings and fastenings. The rate should be inclusive of cutting of rails, fish plates, bo;lts & nuts, if necessary, for dismantling of Points & Crossings. Replaced materials should be segregated and are to be kept seperately i.e. Rails, Sleepers, fastenings etc. by the side of the track or as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including dismantling of rail claster, if any Track Metre Track Metre Set

10 Description of Item Unit Qnty 7. Dismantling of existing Derailing Awitch of 52Kg ( 1 in 8.1/2 ) on any type of Sleepers with fittings and fastenings. The rate should be inclusive of cutting of rails, fish plates, bo;lts & nuts, if necessary, for dismantling of Points & Crossings. Replaced materials should be segregated and are to be kept seperately i.e. Rails, Sleepers, fastenings etc. by the side of the track or as per direction of the Set Engineer-in-Charge including dismantling of rail claster, if any 8 Assembling, linking and laying in position B.G. Standard turn-outs & Derailing switch on P.S.C. sleepers including approach & exit PSC sleeper portion to correct alignment & gauge. This includes switches lead rails, stock rails both straight and curve, crossig with 60 kg rails and standard fittings ensuring correct spacing of sleepers fixing & tightening of Fish bolts & nuts and maintaining proper guage, expansion gap at rail joints, including fitting & fixing Hand Lever Box and one initial through packing. The rate should be inclusive of dekinking of rails as required, bending stock rails, cutting of rails to required standard size and drilling holes on web of rails square to rail surface by using proper template (for fixing Fish plates, distance block, stretcher bars), greasing and oiling of Fish plates and Fish bolts and nuts and at Fishing zone of the rail ends including transportation at site, supply of grease, oil etc. complete in all respect. 13 Description of Item Unit Qnty 12 Manufacturing and fixing of check rails for R/M L-Xing by cutting flange of 52 kg rails of required size and bending/planning the ends as per RDSO Drg.no. T-3282 with upto date Alt. conforming to IRS-T-10, drilling holes on web. Fixing the check rail to the inner side of running rail the curve & Level Crossig both side with the help of C.I. Bracket, bolts, nuts and plate screw at an intervals as directed by Engineer-in-charge maintaining proper check rail clearance and fixing them on each concrete sleeper. 13 Making and fixing in position cement Each concrete (1:2:4) Fouling Mark as per enclosed drawing with proper painting and lettering as per directives of the Engineer-in-Charge of the work. The rate is inclusive of all materials like cement, stone agreegates, sand and paints etc., earth work in excavation and all incidental works required for fixing in position complete in all respects. 14 Welding of rail joints 52 kg from single rail to 3-rail panel by SKV process with contractors supply PORTION approved by RDSO (to be supplied with authenticated certificate), dry moulds including supplying skilled/artisan staff like welder, moulder, chipper,lutter, aligner, striker/hammerman & adequate nos. of semi-skilled and unskilled labour and supplying litre/joint for facilitating welding works on track by shifting the joint sleepers on either side, providing suitable gap of about 23 mm to 25 mm for welding, fixing the petrol tanks & heating the rail ends by approved contractor's equipment and chipping the exess materials if required, aligning, levelling etc. complete including filing after welding. The work is to be carried out as per alumino Thermic Welding Manual and as per Specification IRS-T The rate should also be inclusive of pulling back of rails for providing required gap at rail joint for Thermit welding. The rate should be inclusive of painting with two coats of priming coat of approved quality, lettering incl. supply of contractor's paint with all lead, lift, ascent, descent, etc. 19 Providing and fixing of Gate post of RM m height from road level with depertmental rails. The work includes supply of contractor's materials e.g. concreating materials, paint, etc. with all lead, lift complete. The item also includes carrying & cutting of rails into required size as per sketch (enclosed). The rate to be inclusive of cement, sand and stone agreegate, painting the gate post with black and white paint bands (two coats over a priming coat) as per directives of Engineer In-charge. 20 Scrapping rust, dust etc. from rails surface by wire brussing, chiselling etc. and painting of rail surface with anti corrosion paints i.e. one coat zinc chromate primer followed by two coats of bituminous emulsion after properly cleaning the surface including handing, rehandling etc. painting is to be done on web, foot & bottom of rail surface of rail except surface of rail head. The rate includes cost of labour & cost of approved make primer & bitumimous emulsion ( berger, shalimer, ICI, Acianpaints or any other make of equivalent quality) supplied by the contractor. 16 Description of Item Unit Qnty 21 Construction of Sand Hump with Each Brick work as per RITES drawing including supply of Cement, Sand, Bricks and all other materials. The rate should also include all labours, tolls & plants, machinery with all leasd, lift, ascent, descent etc.including Sand filling on sand Hump portion complete in all respect (As per RITES Drawing) 22 Transportation of rails, sleepers, MT fittings & fastenings from the dept. store of RITES/Sonar Bangla Cement to the nearest point of site within 3 Km of work by contractors transport including handling, loading, unloading of materials with all lead, lift, crossing road/ rly. tracks etc complete. 23 Installation of 52Kg G-3L Glued Joint Rail of about 6.5 mtr. Length each at different locations by cutting rails with provision of Welding joint gap as specified 23mm to 25mm on both end of glued joint rail and drilling holes on running lines and drilling necessary holes obn at either end of Glued Joint Rail as per requirement during traffic block, fish plating the same on at either end of Glued joints with fish bolts & nuts as per Engineer-in-Charge. The rate Set should be inclusive of transportation of Guled Joint rail from TITES Store depot to site of work with in a distance upto 5 Km ande bringing back the released rail from site of work to RITES store including loading, unloading with necessary lead, lift, ascent, descent and crossing the road/railway lines if necessary and stacking the same in proper manner complete in all respect. 24 Cutting of GFN Liner as per s instruction of Engineer-inCharge Total of Schedule
