No-IWD / NIQ / PE / /07 Date: Notice Inviting Tender The Project Engineer (E), IWD, IISER Berhampur on behalf of Board of Governors invites the sealed Tender from the contractors / agencies on the item rate basis for the items mentioned in the Scheduled of Quantity (attached), so as to reach the IWD, IISER Berhampur, Transit campus, Govt ITI Berhampur (2nd Floor), Engineering School Junction, N.H-59, Berhampur on or before up to 3:00 PM. Tender paper issue: on or before The quotations shall be opened on at 3:30 PM. Name of the Work : Construction of IISER Berhampur (SH: Construction of Foundation and shed for 500 KVA DG Set in transit campus) Schedule of Quantity: As per sheet attached. (Annexure - 01) Estimated Cost: Rs. 3,66,872/- EMD: Rs. 5,000/- EMD: EMD should be in the form of bank transfer (State Bank I-Collect) / Challan at the campus branch of SBI, IISERB only. Bidders may visit if any assistance required:- No interest shall be paid on earnest money deposited. You are also required to submit the bank details in the RTGS IISER Berhampur format available on this link for getting the refund of EMD/Payment. The editable format of RTGS form is also available in in S&P tab. Terms and Conditions:- 1. The work should be completed preferably in 25 Days from the date of award of work. 2. The rate shall be inclusive of all taxes, cartage to site & any other charges etc. complete. 3. Taxes such as income tax, VAT on works contract and labour cess shall be deducted as per the Government norms. Service tax shall be paid by the contractor to the concerned department on demand and it will be reimbursed to him by the Engineer- Page 1 of 4

2 in-charge after satisfying that it has been actually and genuinely paid by the contractor. 4. The payment shall be made after execution of work or as decided by Engineer-in-charge in the interest of work. 5. Security Deposit shall be 2.5% of the gross amount of each running & final bill till the sum deducted will amount to Security Deposit of 2.5% of the work order amount. 6. The Security Deposit shall not be refunded before the expiry of 6 months after the issue of the certificate final or otherwise of completion of work, or till the final bill has been prepared and passed whichever is later. 7. The department shall not be responsible for any accident and theft before handing over and completion of work. 8. The department can close the work order at any time without any notice. 9. The work shall be executed as per CPWD specifications 2009 (Vol.-I & II) with upto date correction slips. 10. Any damage/mishappenings/legal proceeding/ compensation occurred during the execution of the contract shall be borne by the agency and department shall not be responsible for any such occurrence.
