2 Your creativity. Our experience. The design of a modern building is born out of a need to fulfill particular requirements economically together with a certain architectural creativity. The fulfilment of these different needs requires up-to-date technology in the production of building components as well as the use of customer orientated computer programmes for planning, design and construction so that individual ideas can be translated into reality. 2

3 BUILDINGS Since the beginning of 1980 hundreds of Atlas buildings have been supplied to particular requirements. Throughout Europe buildings have been supplied for industrial, commercial and retail purposes. 8 Your ideas need a flexible framework. The portal frame has a fundamental role to play in a building s construction. It is flexible in conception and provides the flexibility demanded by the user. Almost any requirement can be incorporated. The frame is designed to meet your needs using computer programmes developed to optimise the frame dimensions and weights. Both columns and rafters are manufactured from high yield steel using automatic welding machines giving consistent quality. All welded steel receives a coat of zinc-rich primer prior to despatch. Production is subject to regular external and internal quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001/EN The structural frame is designed with pinned bases which provide for simple anchor bolt and base plate systems and, ultimately, inexpensive foundations. Erection of the frame is quick with the added benefit of incorporating cold formed Multibeam purlins, the unique shape of which provides a high level of economy while the galvanised material used in its manufacture makes it virtually maintenance free. 8

9 Atlas roof systems for all weathers BUILDINGS Atlas offers not just one roof system but three to meet the requirements of the building. The ATLASclad roof with trapezoidal profiled panels is fixed direct to the purlins and can also be used as the inner skin of a built up roof system. The ATLASrib roof is a standing seam profile panel for use on low pitch roofs. The most modern roof system is the ATLASeurorib roof with bonded insulation. This gives long term reliability and quick erection which is therefore very cost-effective. This roof offers good durability especially where maintenance access is necessary. 9

We have therefore a varied number of colours and profiles, either thru-fixed or with concealed fixings to present an aesthetically pleasing solution. Wall panels can be laid either vertically or horizontally.
