The Conkers Discovery Centre is less than three miles away and offers 120 acres of adventures in the forest with indoor & outdoor play areas and over 100 interactive exhibits. The town of Swadlincote is five miles to the north and offers a cinema and a ski and snowboard centre. The location is ideal for access to the major road networks with the A/M42 allowing easy access to the M1, M6 and A50 which bring the centres of Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Birmingham within commuting distance. East Midlands Airport, and mainline railway stations including Tamworth and East Midlands Parkway are also easily accessible. The village is also well served with regular bus services.
