2 OVERVIEW The most important event organized by Chinese authorities to promote Low Carbon technology & appliances in China. The fifth edition of the Low Carbon Fair exhibition will be hosted from September 18th to September 20th at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo Center. Highlited by the Chinese government 12 th five-year-plan, the Low Carbon Fair has known a blooming growth since its first edition; it is now the greatest exhibition exclusively dedicated to green energy and CO2 reduction. It has witnessed an outstanding development; pitcured by an exhibition surface growing from 3,000sqm to 25,000sqm in only three years, while visitors have been multiplied by ten, reaching 30,000 in Represented by numerous sectors, the event includes the following exhibitions: Green Buildings, Water Treatment, Solid Waste Treatment and Smart City Figures: exhibitors. - 30,000 professional and visitors, including multinational companies such as Hitachi, Foxconn and Konka.

Indeed, the authorities expect to reduce carbon emissions by 40% up to 50% by 2020 and strongly encourage low carbon products exports, consumption and construction to promptly become the national standard. 3
