7 Founders / Principals Ove Petersen, born in 1974, comes from Schleswig-Holstein; Petersen graduated as an agroengineer at Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences in Since 2002, the father of three has been heading an agricultural company in Reussenköge, and is accountable for the general management in GP JOULE's newly formed management team. In addition, Petersen is responsible for purchasing, acquisition, sales, marketing and PR, along with photovoltaic project planning inside Germany. Heiner Gärtner, born in 1972, is responsible for installation and technology, photovoltaic project planning outside Germany, photovoltaic services, and the future concepts business division, and the business performance of GP JOULE together with the three other directors. Gärtner has stayed loyal to his home town, additionally running an agricultural company in Bavarian Buttenwiesen that he took over in 2002, two years after graduating in Agroengineering at Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences. Father-offour Heiner Gärtner lives together with his family in his home town.

8 Management André Hirsch, born in 1973, has amassed a decade of experience in project planning and managing megawatt wind-turbine projects since graduating in Business Studies in His management responsibility profile includes commercial directorship for wind turbine, photovoltaic and biomass plants in addition to finances and controlling. Apart from that, Hirsch is responsible for company organisation as well as wind-power project planning management. Hirsch draws his motivation from watching unique high-sustainability projects mature not least with the future of his own two children in mind. Niclas Fritsch, born in 1976, has dedicated his energy at GP JOULE to carrying responsibility for international projects, especially analysing and tapping into new business areas and markets, researching and reviewing wind and solar-power projects outside Germany. Fritsch's degree in Business Studies now in the process of being extended by a master's degree in Sustainability Management rounds off his many years of experience in renewable energies and his enthusiasm for new challenges. The father of two is also responsible for strategic development in the company as well as management of international companies.
