NOTE: The 152 mm watermain cannot deliver a fire flow of 183 L/s at this location. The following are boundary conditions, HGL, for hydraulic analysis at 1251 Shillington Avenue, the boundary condition analyses assumed that the property will be serviced from Shillington Avenue(see attached PDF for location). IMPORTANT: The Max Day (0.09 L/s) + FF (183 L/s) cannot be provided at 1251 Shillington Avenue Available Fire Flow= 76 L/s assuming a residual of 20psi and a ground elevation of 78.3 m Minimum Pressure during Peak Hour = m. The estimated ground elevation is 78.3 m, corresponds to a pressure of approx psi. Max Pressure Check = m. The estimated ground elevation is 78.3 m the maximum pressure is estimated to be 86.5 psi which is more than 80 psi. A pressure check at completion of construction is recommended to determine if pressure control is required. These are for current conditions and are based on computer model simulation. Disclaimer: The boundary condition information is based on current operation of the city water distribution system. The computer model simulation is based on the best information available at the time. The operation of the water distribution system can change on a regular basis, resulting in a variation in boundary conditions. 1
5 The physical properties of watermains deteriorate over time, as such must be assumed in the absence of actual field test data.
