9 Resulted in Three Major Conclusions and Observations: Companies are confident that their programs benefits significantly outweigh the costs. Different from 2012, there appears to be an increase in multinational project teams. The major benefit for the sponsoring companies is enhancing the skills of the volunteers, especially leadership development.

FTTSA was appointed the secretariat of the Sustainable Tourism Certification Alliance Africa; therefore it is important to have a strong and effective leadership to implement specific growth strategies. Project The goal is to empower the FTTSA team that is now guiding the activities of the Alliance to improve capacity building in areas such as, project management, communications/social media, time management and leadership, and fundraising.

DELIVERABLES Project Provide an ICT strategy for the education department in Limpopo. For example, technology infrastructure, school information (management) systems, hosting curriculum materials, home-school communication systems, elearning, professional networks & teacher collaboration, etc. Establish impact indicators to be tracked over the coming months Written explanations and recommendations for implementation Proof of Concept for base level ICT for school
17 CSC South Africa: Partnership Development & Training Client: RULIV, Promotion of Rural Livelihoods DELIVERABLES Identify private sector partnerships for processing and marketing of products Identify training needs and coordinate local level capacity building in processing technology Provide an inventory of indigenous processing technology in operational area Background Ruliv is an organization of multidisciplinary professionals which provides multi-disciplinary services pertaining to all aspects rural and urban development. The aim of the project is to improve rural livelihoods (social, human, physical, natural and financial capital) through the production of sorghum, both in terms of quantity and quality in order to establish food security at household level and also uplift the socio-economic well-being of the rural communities. Project Development of an Indigenous Processing Technology blueprint for the Maqhashu Sorghum Belt Production Project, a rural community-based project.
