2 President s Message Greetings and Welcome! As a new member of HRMA WNE, you ve made a great decision! On behalf of our Board of Directors and our membership group, we welcome you to the chapter and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events for the new season. This year, we are focused on bringing you the most up-to-date information and programming on the HOT issues that impact you and your organization. I look forward to seeing you at our events this season and would be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the chapter or your membership with us! As you ll soon see, there are many opportunities to get involved and we hope that you ll consider joining a Committee in the future. Thank you again for joining HRMA WNE! We appreciate your membership! Allison

5 Member Quotes HRMA has been proven to be an excellent resource to stay up to date with current trends in HR. It has also been a great way to meet new people and exchange ideas which have helped me in my career. June L. Joining HRMA was one of the best things I did as someone starting out in an HR career. I gained access to so much more information, connections, and mentorship than I would have otherwise. The relationships I have made and the information from the monthly programs have helped me to grow and become more valuable in my organization, as well as open doors to great opportunities. Kathleen D.
6 Member Quotes Participation in the HRMAWNE has been such an enriching experience for me. The meetings provide me with up to date industry knowledge and the professional contacts allow me unlimited support for day to day issues that arise. My role as a member of the Board of Directors allows me to expand my leadership skills in immeasurable ways. I believe this is by far the best career investment I make. Myra Q. "Helpful, insightful and a way to connect with my HR peers in a non-threatening environment, HRMA's monthly meeting helps me be a better manager". Brian H.

19 Non-Solicitation Policy Members are not to be openly solicited for business during meetings. This means that: Members are not to introduce themselves for the purpose of selling their products/services during meetings. Members are not to leave promotional materials on meeting tables or openly distribute such during HRMA WNE meetings. It is permissible for a member to discuss their services or provide additional information to a prospective client member upon specific invitation/inquiry during HRMA WNE meetings. Without express inquiry initiated by a member, solicitation is strictly prohibited during meetings. It is understandable that members may selectively contact other members at their businesses during which time they may discuss their products or services. However, even on these occasions they are to exercise good business judgment and avoid harassment. The membership directory is not to be used as a solicitation tool. This means no member shall undertake a campaign using the directory to sell their products or services. Members are requested to advise their guests of the HRMA WNE non-solicitation policy prior to attending a meeting. Adherence to this policy will provide a comfortable, professional and pleasant intimidation-free environment for all our members.
