1 Recofloor Introduction to the scheme

2 How the Scheme Works Material is collected by Altro and Polyflor using: Backload collections Diversion of vehicles The material is then returned to site and sorted for processing

3 Now 2,500 tonnes collected 650+ registered collectors Over 60 drop off sites at distributors across the UK (Figures correct as of November 2015)

4 Collection Containers Clear plastic sacks for individual fitters to use on site, or take to drop-off sites Bins for use at drop-off sites Bulk bags for flooring contractors to use on larger jobs

5 How the Scheme Works: Day-to-Day Waste Collector gets polythene bags from trade counter Waste Vinyl flooring is placed in separate polythene bags Collector returns bags to drop-off point

6 How the Scheme Works: Collections from Contractors Contractor contacts Recofloor for bulk bags. Recofloor dispatches bulk bags Waste Vinyl flooring is placed in separate bulk bags and palletised When 2 or more bulk bags are full, contractor phones Recofloor for a collection Contractor pays for collection and Recofloor sends out more bulk bags.
