Dulebenets Civil & Environmental Engineering Research Background Dr. Dulebenets research interests include but are not limited to: operations research, optimization, simulation modeling, NP hard problems, mathematical programming, metaheuristics, hybrid algorithms, evolutionary computation, transportation engineering, freight transportation, intermodal freight facilities, railroads, liner shipping scheduling, and GPS data processing How I d Like to be Involved in a Smart Cities Project 1) Collaborate with other faculty members on various research projects 2) Submit collaborative proposals to relevant funding agencies 3) Network with representatives from State/Federal agencies and industry who might be interested in supporting the Smart Cities Project 4) Develop decision tools to support Smart Cities
