2 A WEEKEND CELEBRATION OF CARS FOR CAUSES Founded in 2010, The Elegance At Hershey is a premier automotive event featuring only the finest and most beautiful automobiles. The Elegance celebrates a bygone era when the automobile stirred our imaginations and quickened our hearts. Created by a small group of enthusiasts as an independent, non-profit organization, The Elegance is dedicated to supporting the JDRF and furthering automotive interests by supporting the AACA Museum and AACA Library and Research Center. EVENTS OF THE ELEGANCE AT HERSHEY THE GRAND ASCENT A two-day vintage hill climb exhibition. Drivers of vintage and antique sports and race cars navigate the back road of The Hotel Hershey. The Grand Ascent is sanctioned by the Vintage Sports Car Club of America (VSCCA). This exciting hill climb exhibition delights enthusiasts and curious spectators alike. Exhibitors display space available near the course for sponsors and vendors. FRIDAY COCKTAIL PARTY Mingle with show car exhibitors, Grand Ascent drivers, judges, sponsors and other VIPs at our Friday Cocktail Party a casual event to meet the fellow automotive enthusiasts with whom you will spend the weekend, and to catch up with old friends. CARS AND COFFEE New for 2017! Cars & Coffee is a tradition among car lovers, offering club members and car enthusiasts an opportunity to show and discuss their vehicles in a casual atmosphere. This event will be held on Saturday from 9AM 1PM. In addition, attendees will be able to view vintage cars participating in the Hershey Grand Ascent hill climb. Free coffee and doughnuts! THE CELEBRATION A Saturday evening gala dinner celebrating The Elegance At Hershey. Join sponsors, exhibitors and supporters of the AACA and JDRF in The Garden Terrace Ballroom of The Hotel Hershey for an evening of fine food, great entertainment and an incredible silent auction with spectacular items. THE ELEGANCE A Concours d Elegance featuring 75 of the world s finest collector cars. These rare and beautiful vehicles are artfully arranged in The Hotel Hershey s classically manicured formal gardens. The Hotel Hershey provides an ideal location for this day of mutual admiration and relaxed camaraderie. The Elegance also features wine tastings, live music, fine jewelry displays and sponsor exhibitions featuring restoration shops and highly sought after automobilia. AFTERGLOW A grand finale reception event following The Elegance. A fitting end to our motorsports weekend, the Afterglow allows exhibitors, sponsors, judges and other VIPS the opportunity to unwind as the show cars are removed from the field.

3 THE ELEGANCE BENEFICIARIES FURTHERING DIABETES RESEARCH Since its inception, The Elegance has contributed the majority of funds raised to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Over the past six years, The Elegance has donated nearly half a million dollars for improving the lives of people with T1D and finding a cure for this catastrophic disease. JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Its mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. With your help, in 2017, we will again provide these vital funds so that JDRF has the opportunity to improve lives and to find a cure. SUPPORTING AUTOMOTIVE INTERESTS The Elegance also supports two additional charitable organizations to further the automotive hobby. The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) is the largest not-for-profit collector car club in the world with more than 60,000 members. The club maintains the AACA Library and Research Center at its headquarters in Hershey, PA. The nearby AACA Museum is dedicated to preserving and exhibiting historic automobiles and other vehicles. Open daily to the public, the AACA Museum exists to tell the story of the automobile from the 1886 Benz Patent Motor Car to the concept cars of tomorrow. The Elegance At Hershey is designated as a Public Charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. 4 PARTNERSHIP BENEFITS PROMOTION The over-arching goal of The Elegance is to raise funds to support our charities by providing a weekend of enjoyment for show car exhibitors and spectators alike. An additional goal is to create an environment where our sponsors are provided with a ready audience to promote their company. In past years, more than 5,000 people have attended the event over the three-day weekend. We work to achieve these numbers through various promotional efforts. PUBLIC RELATIONS A public relations campaign is coordinated with local and national newspapers, magazines, television and radio. A show representative will be available to all media outlets to promote the event. Local and regional newspapers run a feature story just prior to the event. Numerous articles and blog posts will be published in the months leading up to and post event. NEWSPAPERS & MAGAZINES Advertisements will appear in a multitude of local, regional and national magazines including: Hemmings Motor News, Hemmings Sports and Exotic Cars, Sport Car Market, Antique Automobile, American Collector Car, Old Cars Weekly, Sports Car Digest, Vintage Motorsports, The Patriot News, The Hummelstown Sun, Harrisburg Magazine, Susquehanna Style, and others. Major sponsor logos will be included in all advertisements. INTERNET Major online magazines, blogs and automotive sites will be contacted prior to the show. In the past, many online sites have written articles about the show and posted photos. Advertisements will also appear on multiple automotive websites such as Hemmings, Driving Line, Vintage Motorcar, Mind Over Motor, Automobile Mag, Jalopnik, NYT Autombiles, Auto Blog, and others. SOCIAL MEDIA The Elegance At Hershey has a presence on all major social media. The accounts are updated with new information year round and the event s influence is constantly growing. The Elegance reaches thousands of individuals with our major social media outlets and through the use of our beneficiaries shared electronic media and audience. SHOW PROGRAM An official high quality program is distributed with ticket purchase to each spectator at the event. All sponsors will be recognized. This 45-page, four-color publication contains articles, show car listings and other valuable information for car collectors and the general public. An ideal place to advertise to this affluent market. RADIO & TELEVISION All major television stations will be contacted prior to the event. Local television stations will cover the event with footage of the grounds, cars and crowds presenting a perfect opportunity for a sponsor s banner to be seen on air.
