Both attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to rent our armor plated, solid steel safe deposit boxes, which are kept under heavy 24 hour armed guard security as well as video surveillance. Safety deposit boxes operate on a two key system. Only the registered safe holder can access the safes and will be accompanied by armed security under heavy video surveillance. Safe holders are responsible for keys at all times until the keys have been returned. * Non-Members are subject to Polygon s vetting. The safety deposit boxes measure x24 deep. A fee of $ will be charged to any safe holder who loses their keys.

17 BONUS COLORED GEMSTONE COURSE Professional Gem Sciences Laboratories will offer a 2-day course on colored stones: Navigating Profits & Pitfalls $495 Thursday, April 12 th and Friday, April 13 th, 2018 This PGS Laboratory gemstone ID course is designed to expose jewelry professionals to some of the important trends affecting the gemstone market today. Using sample stones we demonstrate how to accurately identify treatments and enhancements in the big three: ruby, emerald and sapphire. The course focuses on the visual means of detecting some commonly encountered geographic origins using inexpensive tools such as the Chelsea filter and LW-SW ultraviolet light. Sample stones demonstrating various quality ranges will also be available to view. The course is an abbreviated version of a two-week program that the lab offers periodically in Chicago.
