2 City of Moreno Valley Economic Development Advertising Overview 2017 The Economic Development Department proactively markets the City of Moreno Valley s strategic advantages to new and expanding businesses by advertising in a variety of local and national magazines, journals and digital sources. The Department s marketing strategy includes targeted messaging in key trade and regional publications to gain recognition and exposure for Moreno Valley. The following provides an overview of the City s print and digital advertising efforts: ANNUAL GUIDES: The Economic Development Department seeks to target individuals who make site selection decisions by advertising in the publications that these decision makers subscribe to including: Business Facilities 2018 Site Seekers Guide Circulation 30,000 Site Selection CA Investment Guide Circulation 45,510 COMMERCIAL: To attract commercial and retail tenants, the City places several ads in the following industryleading publications at strategic times throughout the year, such as during the ICSC tradeshows in May and September: Franchising Today Circulation 142,000 Shopping Center Business Magazine Circulation 102,000 Western Real Estate Magazine Circulation 45,000 INDUSTRIAL: To attract potential industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics companies in strategic trade magazines, the City advertises in the following magazines: Area Development Circulation 39,652 Business Xpansion Journal Circulation 63,000 California Manufacturers & Technology Association (New) Circulation 6,450 NAIOP Developer Magazine Circulation 20,000 Trade & Development Circulation 25,000 INTERNATIONAL: To attract potential industrial tenants from across the globe, the Department advertised in the following publication: FDI Alliance International Circulation 5,200 REGIONAL: To target local businesses in the Los Angeles, Inland Empire, and Orange County region, the City advertises in several business journals, including: Inland Empire Magazine Circulation 255,000 Los Angeles County Business Journal Book of Lists Circulation 20,152 Orange County Business Journal Book of Lists Circulation 22,000 UCR Business Magazine Circulation 60,000 Urban Land Institute Circulation 20,000
