Children are not properly idenvfied and recorded (idenvficavon as to whether the child is a child at risk or a child in conflict with the law) Lack of relevant data or informavon about a child; Lack of documentavon of cases handled and of services rendered
22 Challenges Encountered During the CICL Profiling and Data Matching Workshop LSWDO and LEO were able to match a very small number of cases from their respecvve records No standard forms and tools for regular inventory of cases, for data matching (law enforcers, BCPC, LSWDO) and for tracking of status of cases managed. No endorsed records or data from former case managers; no back- up (unavailable data)
23 RecommendaVons for Data Management, Sharing and Referral System A standard policy for data collecvon, transfer, management and security should be implemented Technical assistance through capability- building and orientavon acvvives should be regularly conducted for the LGU implementers (guidelines, protocols, data collecvon and management) A separate record for children at- risk (CAR) and children in conflict with the law (CICL) should be established and maintained by duty bearers
