2 Programme Intro The CIPD Diploma in Human Resources Practice is an HR qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, the professional body for HR and people development. It offers the latest in HR management principles and equips you with practical skills and knowledge for a support-level role within human resources. The HR Diploma in Human Resources Practice gives you a firm foundation for a career in human resources and to add value in the workplace. CIPD s internationally recognised professional qualifications are a great way to gain the essential knowledge and skills needed to become an effective HR practitioner. This qualification will provide you with professional Associate Membership to the CIPD as accredited and globally recognised HR practitioner. Modes of Assessment You will be assessed by: demonstrating practical skills short work-based reports a self-assessment of your experience and contribution to the programme evaluation, explanation and comparison case study exercises Managers who want to gain formal HR experience that is recognised internationally Learning outcomes This qualification will: develop you as an HR practitioner by giving you a broader understanding of HR issues relating to individual, team and organisational development. give you an understanding of how HR activities support an organisation's strategy, how they help achieve business objectives and how they are shaped by internal and external factors.

4 Duration A Diploma qualification (37 credits) The Diploma consists of 185 classroom guided learning hours plus up to 185 hours of self study. The classroom hours will be spread over 8 months, taught on Monday and Tuesday evenings 6.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Class Size Up to 25 pax Fee S$ CIPD membership fees of S$100 Register Now or Find Out More Awarding Body The Diploma is endorsed and awarded by CIPD through the British Council as an accredited Study Centre. Minimum Requirements English proficiency level IELTS minimum level 6.5, 6.0 in written paper, gained within 6 months of interview date, for non-native speakers OR CEFR assessed B2 minimum.
