1 Administration Officer We are seeking a Permanent Part Time Administration Officer who is self-motivated and possess excellent organizational skills to assist The Leisure Company s Office Manager. 25 hours per week pm Monday to Friday To apply for these positions you will need to obtain an application package. The Administration Officer is responsible for providing effective and efficient financial assistance to the Office Manager to ensure the organisation is operating to its full potential The following are essential attributes of the position: Excellent communication skills Efficient time management skills Sound knowledge of general office procedures Ability to work co-operatively and respectfully with team members, families and professionals from various agencies and cultural backgrounds Driver s License Position Title Administration Officer Award Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award $24.56 Hours of Work 25 hours a week 12:00-5:00pm daily Employment Type Permanent Part-time Responsible to Office Manager

3 The Leisure Company Administration Officer The Leisure Company is a not for profit organisation that provides recreation, work and life skills opportunities to people with a disability. We are seeking an Administration Officer who is self-motivated and possess excellent organisational skills to assist The Leisure Company s Office Manager. For your application to be considered you must address the following selection criteria: Essential Selection Criteria 1. A sound knowledge of general office procedures 2. Advanced word processing skills using Microsoft Word and Excel 3. Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate initiative 4. To be able to prioritise workload 5. Effective time management skills 6. Meticulous attention to detail 7. Experience with MYOB accounting package 8. Experience with accounts payable and receivable 9. Experience with receipting and banking of moneys Desirable: 1. Experience with monthly bank reconciliation, processing and preparation of wages

4 Statement of Duties 1. Manage customer accounts send out participant invoices/ statements and record payments. 2. Follow-up outstanding accounts 3. Banking all money regularly 4. Prepare supplier invoices for payment 5. Photocopy, collate and distribute information as required 6. Maintain adequate stationery and supplies 7. Record all incoming and outgoing correspondence 8. Respond to telephone and answer straight forward enquiries. Handle sensitive enquiries with tact and discretion 9. Process Petty Cash 10. General typing as required. Process reports for Management Committee Meetings. Type agendas and minutes. 11. To have an awareness of Work Health and Safety Regulations and the responsibilities contained therein. 12. Other duties as required by Office Manager and Chief Executive Officer

Types of supports include; Group based Social and Recreational Activities, Supported Holidays and Overnight Stays, 1:1 Supports, Community Based Activities, Team Sports, Skill Development, Finding and Keeping a Job, Support in Home and Personal Care.
