2 SUMMARY AND SCOPE OF WORK The Target D Summer Transition will take place 6/19/2013 thru 7/03/2013. The purpose of this Transition is to assemble new displays for Target s Summer Furniture Transition. STORE RESPONSIBILITIES Pull product for Assemblers prior to their arrival at the store. Clear a sufficient workspace in the back of store for the Assemblers to build all displays. Designate an area for Assemblers to place all trash. Apollo Assemblers will move trash to the designated area in the back room but they are not authorized to use the Trash Compactor or bailer Set assembled displays to planogram. Review the displays with the Apollo Assembler and sign the Completion Checklist. STEP 1 UPON ARRIVING AT THE STORE Arrive no later than 9:00 am for your 1 st morning appointment. o If you re late or can t make it, contact your District Coordinator immediately. The store must be notified and/or rescheduled. o Sign in to the IVR. o Sign in to the store s Vendor Sign-in Log. o Check in with the ETL (Executive Team Lead)of Hardlines or the LOD (Lead On Duty) Confirm that the store has the product listed on the work order. Identify the work area in the back of the store and location of product to be assembled. o If a work area has not been cleared, ask the store to clear a space now. - If the store is not able to clear space within 15 minutes of your arrival, contact your District Coordinator for direction. o If the product has not been pulled, ask the store to pull it now. - If the store is unable to pull the product within 15 minutes of your arrival, contact your District Coordinator for direction. o All sku s are being shipped directly to each store for this project. o If store is missing displays, we have approval from Target corporate to pull the missing sku s from store inventory if available. If the store is not ready or will not help you pull product from areas not accessible to you o Do not leave the store o Contact your DC. The DC will work with the Project Coordinator to determine if the build should continue or be rescheduled o Please wait up to 1 hour in attempt to complete assembly as scheduled o If you have wait time, contact your DM TARGET 2013 D249 SUMMER FURNITURE TRANSITION PAGE 2

4 SPECIAL ASSEMBLY NOTES Item # Onyx 3-in-1 Media Stand o Assemble this sku using the FLOATING SWIVEL MOUNT option Item # Aiden Adjustable Barstool o Assemble at the 29 Barstool height Item # s & o These displays are to be pulled from Box Stock inventory STEP 2 ASSEMBLY Refer to your manifest for a list of SKU s that are to be assembled in each location o Assemble the sku s on your work order using the instructions included with each box. o Not all SKUs are authorized for assembly in all stores. o Only the items on the work order are authorized for assembly in that store. o If a store requests assembly of any sku not on your work order, contact your District Coordinator o A request will be submitted to Target Corporate. If approved, you will be notified. Do not build any additional items until you have received confirmation they are authorized. Remove all manufacturer part labels and wipe down the new items. Clear any remaining trash. Leave the area as clean as or cleaner than it was when you found it. STEP 3 AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT Fill out the Completion Checklist on page 6. Review the finished displays with your store contact. Address any issues they may have. o Once the Store Manager is satisfied, have them review and sign the Completion Checklist. o Keep this document on file at home for 90 days. If there are any issues after you leave the store, you will be asked to provide a copy of this document. Sign out of the IVR. Report your work. Work must be reported same day that it is completed. PROCEDURES: STORE ASSEMBLED ITEMS If the store assembled any of the items on your work order before you arrive at the store: o Inspect the store assembled items o Make any necessary repairs Once you have inspected and repaired the item assembled by the store, you may claim it as if you assembled it yourself.
