2 2018 Release Infrmatin We understand that sme yu have been experiencing issues with Checkpint Engage, and we want yu t knw that reslving these issues is a high pririty fr us. Thank yu fr yur patience. April 2018 The fllwing items have been crrected in this release: Disclsure Sme disclsure checklist questins previusly appeared twice. Ntes n the duplicate prcedures will nw be linked when the user updates the checklist. The fllwing items remain pen and will be crrected in a future release: Disclsure Intermittently, when users click the Check fr Update ptin, the latest checklist is nt being displayed. March 2018 The fllwing items have been crrected in this release: When a user de-selects a prcedure frm an Audit Prgram, the sign-ff was being retained. As a result, when the prcedure was later re-selected, it wuld shw as already signed ff in the AP Cmpletin View and in the Guide-Me page. T imprve user experience, n the Audit Prgram users can enter cmments in plain text which is the default mde. If a user prefers t enter cmments with the rich editr, user can click the small icn at the tp right crner in the cmment field t bring up the rich text editr. Users may nw manually enter a tlerable misstatement amunt when the CX-2 is nt part f the engagement. Crrected the percentage cmplete calculatin in Guide Me s that it prperly handles situatins in which a prcedure with Practical Cnsideratins is mved frm 'Available Prcedures' t 'Selected Prcedures. When a user creates an engagement with Quick Start, then edits engagement setup and answers Yes when asked if Single Audit requirements apply, the AP-3, AP-18, AP-19 wrkpapers are nw being added as expected. When entered text exceeds the size f the input field in CX-4.1, questins 13 r 14, the excess text will nw display in the generated PDF There was an issue when the user selected respnses fr certain questins in the Audit Prgrams and then de- selected that categry and rlled Checkpint Engage with AdvanceFlw Release Update Histry Thmsn Reuters/Tax & Accunting. 3 frward the engagement. The respective categry appeared in the Available Pane instead f Selected Pane. This issue has been reslved fr rll frward in Audit Prgrams. Crrected an issue when a planning frm questin/disclsure Checklist questin is marked as N/A and then a PDF is generated ut f it, all the sub-items under it are being mentined in the PDF which is f n use when the answer is marked as N/A. These questins under the tpic are nw hidden in the bth UI and in the generated PDF. Disclsure Interactive Disclsure Requirements User can see an extra clumn displaying requirements relative t the example in Interactive Disclsure Requirements example. This change will be effective fr new titles released fr the year starting in April The fllwing items remain pen and will be crrected in a future release: Sme users receive an errr message stating their sessin may have expired when accessing Checkpint Engage dcuments. Create engagement returns an errr when engagement type is blank. A client engagement created frm template engagement desn t carry frward Risk Assessment and Audit Prgrams fr custm audit areas. Checkpint Engage dcuments that are delivered as Excel files (e.g., ASB CX-9.2) cannt be edited unless the crrespnding Checkpint Tls title is installed lcally. Wrkpaper References Disclsure When a user tries t insert a wrkpaper reference link in a text bx that has been enlarged t full screen, the WP reference dialg is nt visible (displays behind the text bx screen). Sme disclsure checklist questins are nt numbered. Sme disclsure checklist questins appear twice. When a user adds requirements t the disclsure checklist, requirements re-number, which culd make them ut f sync with requirement numbers referenced in the example disclsures. Disclsure - After adding a custm requirement t a tpic the numbering is duplicated in Part 2-Other Disclsures Disclsure - The nn-custm requirements r PPC prcedures are missing when a custm requirement is added. 4 February 2018 The fllwing items have been crrected in this release: Wrkpaper References t dcuments changed after adding them in Audit Prgrams. Wrkpaper Reference links wuld nt navigate t the crrect page when clicked. All wrkpaper reference links in AP Cmpletin View were nt appearing in the generated PDF. Imprt frm SMART wuld fail if frms cntained special characters. Cmments entered in audit prgrams wuld nt save if Expand All was used. Signffs entered in audit prgrams wuld nt save. Data entered in table at the bttm f the CX planning frm is nt saving. The fllwing items remain pen will be crrected in the 3/22/2018 release. 5 January 2018 Finalize Engagement and Rllfrward Finalized Engagement Once an engagement is finalized Guide Me and Diagnstic pages are lcked fr editing. The message This cannt be mdified when engagement is finalized will be present at the tp f the page. A finalized engagement can be rlled frward successfully. Within the rlled frward engagement, wrkpapers are nt lcked fr edits and user can see rllfrward messaging (e.g., Affirm ). Perfrmance Imprvement The scrlling perfrmance has imprved fr Disclsure Checklist as the sectins are manually expanded. The fllwing items have been crrected in this release: Text within Cmment fields n AP frms nt saving. SMART Practice Aids nt including the rllfrward preferences fr sme dcuments in the transfer file, causing Imprt t fail in Checkpint Engage. Step signffs n AP frms nt saving. Disclsure SEFA Checklist nt displayed when user first creates a Risk Assessment nly engagement Release Infrmatin December 2017 December 28 th Guide Me This is a new feature fr Checkpint Engage. The purpse f Guide Me is t prvide a visual snapsht f engagement prgress in terms f percent cmplete relative the number f wrkpaper level r prcedure level signffs. By selecting the Guide Me icn n the AdvanceFlw tlbar, the applicatin will direct the user t the Guide Me screen. On this screen, the user has the ability t access engagement wrkpapers via a hyperlink link fr planning frms and audit prgrams. 6 Disclsure Deselect Tpics The deselect tpics feature ensures the answers are remved n the checklist requirements tab as a result f the tpic being deselected and triggers a message t ntify users that if there are any answers n the requirements tab assciated t the tpic, they will be remved. Diagnstics presents a diagnstic fr the disclsure checklist. Flders and Flder Structures will be maintained fr Cpy Engagement, Cpy Template and Rllfrward Merge (fr template wrkpapers). Duplicate r empty flders will nt be created. Rllfrward Users have the ability rll frward master engagements and the applicatin will synchrnize AdvanceFlw and Checkpint Engage wrkpaper rll frward ptins. 7 Octber 2017 Ability t delete CX-2.1 Financial Statement Materiality Wrksheet Allws mre flexibility between the CX-2.1 and the CX-8, if the CX-2.1 is deleted and nt present in the engagement, the tlerable misstatement value can be entered manually n CX-8 Planning Substantive Prcedures August 2017 Ability t create Master Engagements. Master engagements allw firms t use template engagements that are created and maintained by the firm. Checkpint Engage can nw be enabled n AdvanceFlw templates. Infrmatin the firm enters in Checkpint Engage master engagements in the AdvanceFlw templates is autmatically inserted in new client engagements. When rlling frward a prir-perid client engagement, yu have the ptin f merging the prir-perid client engagement with a selected master engagement. This allws yu t effectively use master engagements withut lsing the dcumentatin yu created in the prirperid engagement. Includes ability t Include/Exclude Practical Cnsideratins n generated PDFs. The ptin is selected in Preferences, accessed by clicking n yur name in tp right crner f AdvanceFlw. It is critical that yu revise and tailr the planning infrmatin based n yur wn audit judgment and the client s unique perating envirnment and risks. Quick Start cntent is available fr Audits f Nnpublic Cmpanies, Nnprfit Organizatins, Lcal Gvernments, Cnstructin Cntractrs, Emplyee Benefit Plans, Dealerships, Hmewners Assciatins, and HUD Audits.
