Graduatin Prject Tasklist The attached checklist is designed t assist yu with graduatin prject tasks, as well as individual fur-year planning activities t prepare yu fr life after high schl. Yu will start this checklist depending n where yu are currently at with yur graduatin prject tasks. Fill ut yur address and infrmatin. This prfile infrmatin will be at the tp f yur resume. Please update this infrmatin if yu mve r get a new phne number. Career Matchmaker and My Skills Assessment D yur first career matchmakers t get an idea f careers that may interest use. Save three t yur prtfli s the cunselrs knw what yu are interested in. Click n Assessments t see the list f assessments. Click n Matchmaker and My Skills t take the assessment and save them t yur prtfli. Click n Start New Matchmaker. Please cmplete all 114 questins, take yur time fr the mst detailed results! Click n My Careers. Use yur assessment results t find careers that might be interested in pursuing after high schl. Save these careers t yur prtfli fr future reference. Yur cunselr may use these t tell yu abut career seminars and ther pprtunities in the field. Career Interview Yu must interview three prfessinals in a career area that interests yu fr yur graduatin prject. Use the Interview Frm t recrd answers. One f the three required interviews can be cmpleted thrugh Career Cruising. Click n the Careers tab at the tp, and enter in a career f interest. Once a career is selected, click n the individual names under Interviews n the left hand side. Yu may nt be able t answer all f the questins n the Interview Frm, s answer it as thrughly as pssible. Resume Start yur resume t build upn each year. Enter activities, experience, awards, vlunteer, and ther things yu d in and ut f schl. Click n Emplyment tab acrss the tp. Review the Emplyment Guide t learn abut resumes, the cntent, and writing effective bullet pints. Once yu understand what a resume is, click n Resume Builder r Build My Resume under the Emplyment tab. Click n each tpic t fill in infrmatin abut yur Career Objective, Educatin, Wrk Experience, Etc. Be sure t click Save. When yu g back t My Saved Schls under My Plan yu can make cmments abut what yu liked and didn t like abut thse schls. Scheduling an Interview: If yu dn t knw a prfessinal in yur career interest t interview, check ut the Penn Manr Cunselrs Website fr suggestins under the Career Resurces tab yu can find the link t PA Chamber f Cmmerce Career Cnnect, where yu can search fr cmpanies t cntact.
