2 Role Requirements As part of the Executive Management team the role is responsible for management of the Group s Strategic Growth, Marketing, Public Relations and Communications activities. The position is responsible for maintaining and developing The Groups revenue generating activities to meet growth targets. The position holder will be responsible for marketing and growth of the Group s activities, promoting the Flagstaff brand and attracting new business opportunities. The position holder is also expected to provide best practice market research, promotion, communications and social media activities to achieve targets. The Selection Criteria Eligible to immediately work in Australia without sponsorship; Hold, and continue to hold, a National Police Certificate not more than 4 years old from the date of issue (note that some disclosable outcomes contained within the Certificate may prohibit commencement in the role and/or ongoing employment) Tertiary and or equivalent qualifications in Marketing &/or Public Relations &/or Communication. Proven track record in managing a diversified product & customer portfolios including Government, local, private, commercial and funding activities. High level communication and presentation skills written and oral Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics. Experience in establishing and maintaining CRM databases. Identifying and delivering new products to market. Proven capacity to provide consultative, solutions-driven approach. Be target driven with effective time management skills with a proven capacity to manage multiple tight deadlines employing a hand on approach where necessary. Ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values. 3 Performance & Ability Expectations To be successful in any role with Flagstaff, at a minimum you will need to meet the requirements of your job description; although there may be changing KPI s and operational targets from time to time, meeting these Performance & Ability Expectations will be the primary measure of your performance. Present as a role model for Flagstaff s core values, its culture of teamwork, helping others, maintaining a positive can do attitude and performing to the best of your ability for the good of the team and our customers; Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework and Support Group Compliance with that Framework within your area of responsibility. Marketing, Sales, Business Growth & Development, Trends & Forecasts (60%) Provide Sales & Marketing direction for the Group, including having an understanding of the Groups, businesses, products and funding sources to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Develop & manage marketing & promotional strategies including SEO, SEM and CRM activities. Development & promote the Flagstaff brand. Prepare & deliver marketing and promotional campaigns in line with growth strategies. Represent Flagstaff Media, Public Relations & Communication (25%) Liaise and communicate with stake holders. Prepare, distribute, analyse and communicate Flagstaff business performance surveys (including employee and customer satisfaction surveys). Manage, direct and provide content for the Groups website & social media activities. Manage Flagstaff internal and external communications requirements. Planning & Reporting (15%) Monitor and report changes in environment and market trends and recommend changes to action plans and budgets to ensure budget targets are achieved. Report performance to agreed service levels. Complete and report regular customer/stakeholder and employee surveys. Prepare monthly activity reports for management and the Board of Directors. 4 Performance & Ability Expectations (cont d) General To maintain a focus on the Vision and Mission of the Flagstaff Group and our commitment to people with disabilities. Ensure effective & productive cooperation with all Flagstaff Group business divisions, departments or sections on the placement of people with disabilities, their induction and training. Communicate & consult regularly with your direct manager and all other work colleagues, in order to foster commitment, teamwork, and productivity and maintain harmonious industrial relations. Immediately report complaints or non-conformance issues to the division manager. Comply and ensure staff comply with all policies & procedures, standards, rules and applied legislation including the OHS&E and Injury Management Systems and communicate OHS&E information. Demonstrate by example and enforce Flagstaff values and culture. Report any safety and environmental risks and hazards to relevant site supervisor/manager. Monitor contractor OHS&E performance in their area of responsibility. Present as a model for professional conduct. Adhere to Group Authority levels and where required, directly represent the required control to executive management. Carry out other duties as directed Comply with, and ensure staff comply with, all Flagstaff policies & procedures, guidelines, processes, standards, rules and applied legislation. Individual Employee Work Health & Safety Responsibilities Maintain safe work conditions and use safe work practices at all times; Follow all safety regulations and precautions; Assist in the implementation of Flagstaff s WHS policy; Comply with safety directions; Attend training courses as required; Correctly wear any required PPE at all times; Immediately report all incidents, accidents, defective equipment, actual & potential hazards and unsafe work practices. 5 Performance & Remuneration Expectation This is a Salary position meaning that in addition to any Performance & Ability Expectations identified in this document; it is assumed that you will immediately have the skills (i.e. training, qualifications, experience and expertise to be able to undertake any task that could be reasonably expected within the this job description. Remuneration reviews are carried out annually and are performance based on a full 12 months employment with Flagstaff. An incentive program is available which is based on achievement of Group and individual KPI s. Note: This position may, after due consultation, be revised and amended from time to time in accordance with the needs of Flagstaff.
