2 Why The Planner magazine? In it s ten years of existance, The Planner/Le Planificateur have become invaluable resources to help you reach the players in the meeting and incentive planning community: The Planner/Le Planificateur prints 9 issues per year, targeted specifically for industry professionals who have requested to receive the publication. Our goal is to help event, meeting, convention planners and association planners to quickly find ideas, advice and stay current in an ever evolving industry. On-line from our French and English websites to our monthly electronic newsletters as well as our ongoing and evolving range of new services. Technology is an important part of the way we communicate but without the face to face meetings it s difficult to form meaningful relationships. That s why we organise numerous events throughout the year from cocktails and lunch & learn events to our popular speed dating for business events. 3 The Planner Team Industry professionals at the service of industry professionals Michel Geoffroy Laura Bony Amber Jackson Publisher of the Planner, Michel studied and worked in hospitality before starting and operating several companies, mainly in the areas of production, audio-visual rental and event management. General Manager and Editor, Laura graduated with a Masters in Entrepreneurship. She provides her perfectionism and creativity to the company. Director of Marketing and Events, Amber graduated in Event Mana gement. She is passionate about events and creating beneficial relationships.
