About us Background information An overview of fertilizer statistics in Burkina Faso from More emphasis is given to the year 2015 and each analysis is based on the products with higher quantities. Official trade data obtained from Burkina Faso Customs and Validated by Fertilizer Technical Working Group Burkina Faso (FTWG-BFA) 2015 data validated from the 7 th 9 th June, 2016.

3 Fertilizer Production There is primary production of phosphate in Burkina Faso (Burkina Phosphate). Société de Commercialisation de Production Agricole et Marchande (CIPAM SA) has a blending plant located at Bobo Dioulasso blending different kinds of fertilizers.

In 2015 total apparent consumption of fertilizers in nutrients were 96.5 with 47.2 N, 23.8 P 2 O 5 and 25.5 K 2 O.
