Hwever, fr users requiring strict cmpatibility with Red Hat r fr users running kernel mdules dependent n specific kernel versins, the Red Hat Cmpatible Kernel ffers 100% cmpatibility with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Oracle Database Servers Oracle Revenue Management and Billing Versin is supprted n Oracle Database Server and all perating systems listed abve. 15 Quick Installatin Guide 1.5 Installing Additinal Sftware Please read this sectin and fllw directins if yu purchased a license frm Oracle fr either f the fllwing prducts: Oracle WebLgic Micr Fcus Oracle WebLgic Custmers must dwnlad Oracle WebLgic Server frm the Oracle Sftware Delivery Clud. The supprted versins f Oracle WebLgic Server are mentined in the Operating Systems and Applicatin Servers sectin Micr Fcus This sectin includes the fllwing tpics: Supprted Micr Fcus Prducts Micr Fcus Server fr UNIX Micr Fcus Server fr Windws Micr Fcus Server Express fr UNIX Micr Fcus Net Express fr Windws Supprted Micr Fcus Prducts Oracle Revenue Management and Billing supprts the fllwing Micr Fcus prducts: Micr Fcus Server (fr UNIX r Windws)) (REQUIRED). This is the runtime and licensing engine that allws the prduct's COBOL prgrams t run in a prductin envirnment. A license is included with yur Oracle Revenue Management and Billing license fee. The media pack includes a 30-day temprary license cde that can be used while yu request the permanent license cde frm Oracle. Micr Fcus Server Express (fr UNIX) (OPTIONAL). This sftware is used t cmpile COBOL prgrams fr deplyment in a UNIX envirnment. This license is required if yu will be develping yur wn COBOL prgrams. Micr Fcus Net Express (fr Windws) (OPTIONAL). This sftware is used t cmpile COBOL prgrams fr deplyment in the Windws envirnment. This license is required if yu will be develping yur wn COBOL prgrams. Bth Net Express and Server Express include a COBOL cmpiler and a COBOL run-time. Nte: If yu are develping using Java nly, Micr Fcus Server Express and Micr Fcus Net Express are nt required. This prduct installatin des nt autmatically install permanent licenses. Permanent licenses fr Micr Fcus Applicatin Server shuld be acquired thrugh Oracle. 16 Quick Installatin Guide Refer t the COBOL Dwnlad Requirements fr each Platfrm sectin Micr Fcus Server fr UNIX Micr Fcus Server is the runtime and licensing engine that allws the COBOL prgrams t run in a prductin envirnment. Micr Fcus Server is a required prerequisite t installing any Oracle Revenue Management and Billing applicatin. Nte: Install Micr Fcus Server befre yu install Server Express. Server Express is an ptinal additinal cmpnent used fr the develpment and deplyment f COBOL applicatins nly. Installing Micr Fcus Server Sftware fr UNIX Cautin: This sftware MUST be installed int /pt/splcbas51 n UNIX systems. T install the UNIX versin f the Micr Fcus server, cmplete the fllwing steps: Nte: Perfrm the installatin steps as a rt user. 1. Dwnlad the Micr Fcus Server 5.1 WrapPack 7 Install r Micr Fcus Server 5.1 WrapPack 8 Install package frm the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing Versin media pack which is available n Oracle Sftware Delivery Clud. 2. If the file yu dwnladed frm the Oracle Sftware Delivery Clud is cmpressed, uncmpress it int a temprary directry s that yu are left with a.tar file. In this example we are using the file /tmp/sx51_wp7_redhat_x86_64_server.tar.z uncmpress /tmp/sx51_wp7_redhat_x86_64_server.tar.z 3. Create a directry t cntain the COBOL executables: mkdir /pt/splcbas51 4. Extract the tar file int /pt/splcbas51: cd /pt/splcbas51; tar -xvf /tmp/sx51_wp7_redhat_x86_64_server.tar 5. Start the installatin prgram: COBDIR=/pt/SPLcbAS51; exprt COBDIR cd $COBDIR;./install 6. Enter the fllwing respnses t the installatin questins: 64-bit set up Enter the name f the directry where yu want t install this prduct: /pt/splcbas51 D yu want t make use f COBOL and Java wrking tgether? (y/n): y Which f these versins f Java d yu want t be the default?: bit Please enter either 32 r 64 t set the system default mde: 64 D yu wish t cnfigure Enterprise Server nw? (y/n): n Installing UNIX Micr Fcus Server Temprary Licenses Temprary license cdes prvided in the media pack will expire in 30 days. During this time yu have t request a full license. If the temprary license is nt cnverted within the 30-day temprary license perid the system will stp functining. T install these license keys: 1. Select the License Install ptin t install the temprary license keys. Serial Number: ORACLE_UTS30DAY32 License Cde: AAF 5F705 7CD9 ILA FOR AIX PLATFORMS, an additinal license is required. Install the fllwing license key: Serial Number: ORACLE_UTS30DAY64 License Cde: A AAF F ILA Acquiring Permanent Micr Fcus Licenses T request a permanent license, cntact licensecdes_ww@racle.cm with the fllwing infrmatin: Yur Cmpany Name Yur Custmer Number CSI Number (if available) r a cpy f yur cntract including attachment 1. The OS Platfrm and Versin that yu will be running n Full name f Prduct t be licensed: Micr Fcus Server - UNIX The turnarund time fr getting license cdes is 48 hurs. Installing UNIX Micr Fcus Server Permanent Licenses Oracle licensing (licensecdes_ww@racle.cm) will prvide yu a tar file named MFServerPermLicense.tar. Place this tar file n yur UNIX server and extract the cntents t a new directry. Installing Micr Fcus Server Sftware fr Windws Yu must install this sftware as an administratr. 1. Dwnlad the Micr Fcus Server 5.1 Install package frm the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing Versin media pack which is available n Oracle Sftware Delivery Clud. 2. Extract the sftware frm the package. 3. In the tp directry f the extracted package run the executable setup.exe. 4. Select Install Micr Fcus Server fr COBOL Deplyment n Windws. 5. Execute the file cntained within the package. See the Acquiring Permanent Micr Fcus Licenses sectin t ensure that yu start the prcess f acquiring and installing a permanent license key. Temprary License Cdes Temprary license cdes prvided are active fr up t 30 days while yu request a full license. If the temprary license is nt cnverted within the 30-day temprary license perid, yu cannt run COBOL prgrams. The temprary license cdes wuld have been installed in the Micr Fcus Server fr Windws sectin. Acquiring Permanent Licenses T request a permanent license, cntact licensecdes_ww@racle.cm with the fllwing infrmatin: Cmpany Name Custmer Number CSI Number (if available) r a cpy f yur cntract including attachment 1. OS Platfrm and Versin Full name f Prduct t be licensed: Micr Fcus Server - Windws The turnarund time fr getting license cdes is 48 hurs. Install Windws Micr Fcus Server Permanent Licenses Oracle licensing will yu a license key. This license key will be a plain text key that cntains a Serial Number and a License Number cmpnent. T install the license key: 1. Run the apptrack prgram t install this key. If yu accepted the default installatin lcatins fr Micr Fcus Server, then the executable will be in the fllwing lcatin: C:\Prgram Files\Micr Fcus\Server 5.1\Bin\apptrack.exe 2. If COBOL develpment is nt required, there is n need t purchase this prduct. But, if COBOL develpment is required, yu have t purchase and acquire Micr Fcus Server Express license fr each develper separately. T cmplete the installatin f Micr Fcus Server Express, yu must btain a COBOL Serial Number and a License Key fr the number f users licensed t use yur system. Installing the Server Express Sftware This sftware can be installed int any lcatin (but shuld nt be installed t the Micr Fcus Server directry/pt/splcbas51). Fr demnstratin purpses we have chsen "/pt/ cbl5.1". Nte: Perfrm the installatin steps as a rt user. 1. Dwnlad the Micr Fcus Server Express 5.1 WrapPack 7 Install r Micr Fcus Server Express 5.1 WrapPack 8 Install package frm 2. If the file yu dwnladed is cmpressed, uncmpress it int a temprary directry s that yu are left with a.tar file. In this example, we are using the file /tmp/sx51_wp7_redhat_x86_64_dev.tar.z: uncmpress /tmp/sx51_wp7_redhat_x86_64_dev.tar.z 3. Create a directry t cntain the COBOL executables: mkdir /pt/cbl Extract the tar file int /pt/cbl5.1: cd /pt/cbl5.1 tar -xvf /tmp/sx51_wp7_redhat_x86_64_dev.tar.tar 5.
