Contractor shall review all replacement specifications thoroughly for changes from the original version. ITEMS AFFECTING ALL CONSTRUCTION PACKAGES 1. The following documents have been replaced through this addendum: 1) Exhibit A Bid Form (revised) HOLLYWOOD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT 2. The following questions/inquiries are being addressed through this addendum: 1) On behalf of WACO Products Inc., we request that WACO Products Inc. be included as a named manufacturer under Specification Section RESPONSE: Manufacturers that meet the requirements of the specifications are acceptable. Approval will be during shop drawing review. 2) Section Paragraph 2.04.A.3: Local Control Station (LCS) shall meet the following requirements : NEMA 4/7/9 cast aluminum explosion-proof enclosure. LCS shall be mounted a minimum of 3 feet from any potential leak point to comply with NFPA 820. These two requirements are typically either/or but here are specified as required. To make the LCS explosion proof will be costly and MAY not be necessary. Please confirm if the panel needs to be explosion proof if it is to be mounted >3 from any leak source. Is 316 Stainless Steel an acceptable enclosure material. RESPONSE: Control panel shall have NEMA 4X 316 Stainless Steel enclosure. Specification regarding clearance shall remain. The specification has been revised accordingly, and is included in this addendum. 3) Section Paragraph A. 11. o. Fans to be provided with an inlet box The plans do not show an inlet box on the blower and to accommodate an inlet box, modification to the ductwork layout would almost certainly be required. Please confirm if an inlet box is required. RESPONSE: An inlet box is not required. The specification has been revised accordingly, and is included in this addendum. 4) Section B.1 specifies that the structural framing for the pre-engineered metal buildings shall be shop primed and then field removed/coated in accordance with Section Since the structural bolts will be hot dip galvanized per Section 05035, would it be acceptable to have the building manufacturer hot dip galvanize the structural framing instead of painting it? This would reduce future maintenance on the buildings. RESPONSE: Galvanizing of structural framing instead of painting shall not be acceptable. Structural bolts shall not be galvanized. 3 5) Section A indicates the pre-engineered metal buildings shall be manufactured by United Structures of America, Butler Manufacturing, or approved equal. We have reached out to both companies and have only received confirmation from one of the companies that they might be bidding. We have received inquiries from other manufacturers who would like to bid on the project. Would any of the following pre-engineered building manufacturers be acceptable? - Trident Building Systems, American Building Company, Ceco Corporation, Nucor Building Systems, and Vacro-Pruden Building Systems. We have used all of these manufacturers on previous projects and all should be capable of meeting the specification. If not, the manufacturers have requested us to ask what the pre-approval process is to get approved. RESPONSE: Manufacturers that meet the requirements of the specifications are acceptable. Approval will be during shop drawing review. 6) Sheet A-14 Section F indicates a 8 CMU with 8 Sound Absorbent CMU will be used for the East wall of the Plenum hallway at elevation Clarification of the layout is needed for the interior masonry walls at elevation for the Electrical Building. RESPONSE: No Acoustical CMU will be required for the CMU sections of the wall along Column Line 3. All walls indicated on Floor Plan of drawing A-13 to have sound absorbent CMU shall have such CMU at elevation ) Section does not specify the type of glass block to be used at the Headworks on Sheet S-06 & S-07. Please clarify the specifications for the glass block. RESPONSE: See revised Section 04200, included in this addendum. 8) Section B indicates the ductwork will be 316-L Stainless Steel Ductwork. We have received inquiries about whether 316 Stainless Steel Ductwork is need in the Operations Building as it will not be exposed. Using Aluminum or galvanized ductwork would be cost effective in these types of areas. Please advise if aluminum or galvanizes ductwork would be acceptable. RESPONSE: It has been our experience that stainless steel actually provides an overall lower cost when compared to aluminum. Although aluminum material is less expensive, aluminum has higher installation labor costs since it requires more supports and additional duct reinforcing to meet the design pressure classification. This is also indicated in standard cost estimating manuals similar to MEANS. We don t recommend galvanized steel due to its potential for rust and corrosion. Significant rusting and corrosion for galvanized steel ductwork has been experienced on previous projects in high humid climates at water and wastewater sites just from the transport and storage of the ductwork before it has been installed. 9) Please clarify if trusses need to be light weight gauge steel. RESPONSE: Materials for roof trusses are identified in Specification Pre Engineered Cold Formed Steel Trusses. 10) Is door #206 to be 10 wide X 18 high per door schedule, or 18 wide X 10 high per floor plan & elevations? 4 RESPONSE: Door shall be 18 wide x 10 high. 11) Does door #206 need to have an explosion proof operator or normal operator? Electrical drawings do not show anything for the door. RESPONSE: Neither rolling door at the WWTP is electrically operated. 12) Does door #206 need to have a loop detector? Electrical drawings do not show anything for the door. RESPONSE: Per detail 22 on E-89, electrical contractor is to install conduit and junction boxes for installing position detectors by others. 13) Please clarify the application of the spray applied rock wool insulation over the spray applied polyurethane foam insulation. The specification call for a thermal barrier which we would normally spray directly to our spray foam after we have installed it. This spray applied thermal barrier is water based. If you were to apply the spray applied rock wool on top of the spray applied thermal barrier it would cause the adhesion to release and not stick. RESPONSE: The spray applied rock wool will act as the thermal barrier. In location where spray foam is applied and not covered (if any) a thermal barrier is required. We are unaware of any adhesion concerns between the spray foam and spray applied rock wool. Systems will be required to be compatible. 14) Please clarify the area that need to be sealed, room names and numbers do not correspond to one another. RESPONSE: Note the following corrections/clarifications to the drawings: A- 23 MAINTENANCE/GARAGE 208 should be revised to MAINTENANCE/GARAGE 206 ; A-23 SECURE TOOL STORGE 215 should be revised to STORAGE 206A ; A-26 MAINTENANCE/GARAGE 208 should be revised to MAINTENANCE/GARAGE 206 ; A-31 MAINTENANCE/GARAGE 208 should be revised to MAINTENANCE/GARAGE ) SECTION OPTICAL NITRATE ANALYZERS (ISE PROBE) and SECTION AMMONIUM ANALYZERS (ISE PROBE) Both the Endress + Hauser CAS40D and the YSI VARiON are intended to be immersed in a basin. The drawings depict an inline mounting via a flow-through assembly. Please confirm the mounting requirement. RESPONSE: See revised Sections and included in this addendum. Endress + Hauser manufactures flow through assemblies for both the optical nitrate and ISE ammonia probe. YSI remains in the spec, but YSI will need to provide a flow through assembly for each probe. The design will not be changed to accommodate YSI. 16) Under SECTION RADAR LEVEL INDICATING TRANSMITTER/ TRANSDUCER Tag No. LE-4100 appears to be a LEVEL TRANSDUCER Seminole Tribe of Florida CONFIDENTIAL Page 4 of 7

5 (SUBMERSIBLE PRESSURE TYPE). Dwg. I-12 depicts it as a SUBMERSIBLE, PRESSURE TYPE LEVEL PROBE IN STILLING WELL. RESPONSE: Section Instrument List has been updated to correctly show LE-4100 as a submersible pressure type level transducer. Revised section is included in this addendum. 17) M-03 shows four (4) Stop Gates and refers to Detail 4 on M-11 which shows 3 wide gates in the Screen Influent Channel and 4 wide gates in the Bypass Channel. Thus, it appears that there are two (2) 3 X 4 Stop Gates and two (2) 4 X 4 Stop Gates, but the Stop Gate Schedule in requires three (3) 3 X 4 Stop Gates and one (1) 4 X 4 Stop Gate. It appears that the schedule is incorrect. Please clarify. RESPONSE: Section has been revised to reflect two (2) 3' x 4' Stop Gates and two (2) 4' x 4' Stop Gates. Revised section is included in this addendum. 18) 4-yard dumpster(s) are shown as BY OTHERS on M-08. Does BY OTHERS mean that they are not to be provided as part of the Contract. RESPONSE: Correct. Dumpsters will be furnished by Owner. 19) S-52 indicates a Specialty Concrete Coating for the interior of the Plant Site Pump Station, but SPECIALTY CONCRETE COATINGS only indicates Headworks and Transfer Pump Station. Please clarify what coating is required for the Plant Site Pump Station. RESPONSE: Interior coating of the Plant Site Pump Station is specified on drawings M-33 and M ) A-31 Provides the Operations Building Floor Furniture Plan. Are these furnishings to be provided by the Contractor? If so, please provide a furnishings schedule and associated specifications. RESPONSE: All furnishings are to be provided by the Contractor. General notations are provided on Drawing A-31. Note Control System Furniture is specified in Section ) We have been asked to review the information on this project to submit pricing for select materials, and in our review focusing on the louvers have found some conflicting information thus are submitting this RFI for clarification. Louver spec section under 2.01.C require performance including 57% free area based on 48 x 48 unit, Class A wind driven rain resistance at 50 MPH wind speed with rainfall rate of 8 per hour. None of the louver models shown under 2.01.A meet both the requirements, and no louver researched with a current NOA meets the combined requirements. Do you wish a 57% free area unit with a damper to meet the TAS wind driven requirement, or a standard wind driven rain resistant unit with free area in the 40-43% free area range. 6 Louver spec notes a Kynar paint finish, but notes on some of the louver schedules note an Anodized finish. Which is desired, and if an Anodized finish clarify if a Class I clear anodized or a Class I color anodized finish, and color desired RESPONSE: See revised Section included in this addendum. On Drawing H-05, in Louver Schedule under Manufacturer & Model No. column, DELETE Greenheck ELF6375DXD and REPLACE with Greenheck EHH-601D. INJECTION WELL PUMP STATION 4. The following questions/inquiries are being addressed through this addendum: 1) Can you provide the details for the concrete paving (reinforcement and thickness) that is to be demolished on C-03. RESPONSE: Demolition limits and duct bank routing were revised in previous addenda. Refer to revised drawings C-03 and C-06 including in Addendum 3. Refer to E-05 in Addendum 2 for duct bank reroute. 2) Can you provide any as-built drawings for the storage buildings that we are to relocate per C-03 and C-06 including any details on the slab under those buildings.
