Summary job description This position within our UK-based headquarters will support the evolving human resources needs of our growing international team. The position will provide a broad range of support to human resources functions across Blue Ventures, to promote the efficient management of people systems and operations.

2 Responsibilities Recruitment & onboarding - Support the recruitment of new staff, tasks include: - Coordinate periodic capacity and skills reviews and benchmarking - Coordinating the administration of recruitment processes for all new roles worldwide, including the launch of all position advertisements globally - Drafting job descriptions; advertising and promoting positions, including leading search and advertising strategies for roles - Working with recruitment managers to ensure timely and efficient pre-selection of candidates - Conducting preliminary filtering of candidates as required - Organising interviews and liaising with candidates - Support training and onboarding of new staff, tasks include: - Preparation and standardisation of staff on-boarding systems and processes across all countries, including management of templates - Monitoring and support of managers to ensure strong compliance with recruitment, onboarding and other HR processes - Drafting offer s and contracts - Coordinating the completion and secure filing of personal data and documentation - Administration of staff accounts, security and group memberships - Support with administration of internal policy reviews based on review schedule of relevant policy documents by relevant leads - Managing personal insurance for field personnel - Supporting visa and immigration processes of new staff where necessary - Introducing UK-based staff to office and operational systems and processes - Supporting the oversight of UK offices health & safety policy, communication and compliance People management & Learning - Support the staff appraisal and performance management process - Monitor staff opinion and feedback surveys by coordinating annual and ad hoc staff consultations, including compilation, interpretation and communication of results to relevant audiences - Coordinate human resources processes throughout the recruitment cycle, from advertising jobs to coordinating post-departure feedback - Maintain human resources documents and templates and human resources briefing information on staff intranet - Support the staff leaving process, tasks include: - Coordinating exit interviews - Reclaiming equipment, data and documents

3 - Ensuring data and accounts are monitored and closed as required - Support the learning and development of BV Staff, tasks include: - Coordinate staff training days, invitations, meals etc. - Manage facilities bookings for UK staff offsites and workshops - Coordinate compilation of staff training content for all country programmes - Support production and development of management training tools including for technical, people management and project management skills development - Coordination of internal newsletters for staff updates - Manage tracking of staff annual leave processes across all countries - Provide administrative support to managers during the grievance and disciplinary process Skills and experience Qualifications - Education to degree level or equivalent - CIPD level 3 or equivalent HR qualification Experience - Minimum of two years experience working in an international HR team - HR coordination role within a medium or large company or charity - Supporting the delivery of recruitment, training, policy and change management - Practical hands-on experience (e.g. organising interviews, drafting advertisements, creating contracts and performance reviews) - An understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance including health and safety would be desirable - NB we are open to hard-working and eager applicants who may not have direct HR experience but have transferable skills and can demonstrate how they would rise to the challenge.
