Failure t fllw any f these instructins, unless authrized in advance by the Transprtatin Department, can result in a chargeback. 2 GENERAL INFORMATION SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS General Instructins Merchandise must be packed in accrdance with the guidelines defined in the NMFC. Merchandise damaged in transit because f pr packaging will be charged t the shipper. If yur cmpany is paying all the freight cst, the chice f shipping methd t the DC is at yur ptin. If yur cmpany is paying the freight cst int a cnslidatin (see FOB Pint) the chice f shipping methd t the cnslidatr is at yur ptin. Fr ur NJ cnslidatin, we can ffer yu lw inbund cllect & charged back rates: cntact Traffic fr details. An appintment is necessary fr carriers delivering t the DC r cnslidatrs. If a carrier reprts t yu having prblems establishing an appintment, please ntify Traffic via at Traffic.LT@lrdandtaylr.cm Accessrial charges assessed by a carrier resulting frm shipper's lading methd, i.e. srt and segregate, detentin, relabeling, lading charges will be charged t the shipper. Maintain PO integrity within a BOL when tendering freight t a carrier. Carrier srt & segregate expense will be charged back. Ship all merchandise t ur distributin center r cnslidatr. See Ruting Methdlgy belw. Direct stre shipments must be apprved in advance by the Transprtatin Department. HAZMAT fr anything classified as hazardus material, ntify the Traffic Department at Traffic.LT@lrdandtaylr.cm befre shipping. All liquids shuld be marked, This Side Up and Fragile Cartn Cntains Liquids and shipped accrdingly. D nt shw a shipment value n the Bill f Lading. Use f Air freight is restricted see page 12. Jewelry, Watches and ther high-value items may require special ruting see page 12. Cnslidate all shipments made n a single day int ne shipment. Cnslidate as much as pssible, shipments shuld nt be shipped n cnsecutive days. Exceptins must be authrized by Transprtatin. Shipping Friday and Mnday are nt cnsidered cnsecutive days. Cnslidate all individual Bills f Lading n a master Bill f Lading, which describes the individual bills shipped and has cpies f these attached t the master, but use the individual Bills f Lading n the ASN's, nt the master Bill f Lading. Ruting instructins are based n the aggregate weight f all freight/bills f Lading prepared each day fr each lcatin. On LTL shipments, cartn cunts n palletized lads must be verified by the driver. If the driver signs the Bill f Lading as pallets said t cntain cartns, all shrtages will be charged back t yu, nt t carrier. Crrect frmat t use fr pallets is: CARTONS, WGT. PALLETS. Carrier must verify cartn cunts; make sure the crrect Bill f Lading check ff bxes are marked, shwing wh laded and wh cunted the shipment. This must be cnsistent with the Carrier s signature n the Bill f Lading. Fr example: If the Freight Cunted By sectin check-ff indicates By Driver/pieces, d nt allw the carrier t sign fr a pallet ttal. On LTL shipments, all unit cunts must be verified by the carrier's agent when the shipment is picked up. Bills f Lading signed by the carrier's agent as shippers lad and cunt (SLC r SL&C) will abslve the carrier and Lrd & Taylr frm liability fr shrtages. LTL shipments f clthing must have a density f 6 punds per cubic ft. See page 10 Page 2 f 14 1/1/18

3 Small Package, LTL, and Cnslidatin shipments may nt be shipped n cnsecutive days. Exceptins must be authrized by Transprtatin. Shipping Friday and Mnday are nt cnsidered cnsecutive days. Orders must be shipped cmplete, back rders must be shipped freight prepaid. Exceptins authrized by the Transprtatin Department must have an authrizatin number included in the special instructins field f yur Bill f Lading. Bill f Lading must clearly nte which party (shipper r driver) laded and which party (shipper r driver) cunted freight. Ruting methdlgy: If yu are paying all the freight, ship directly t ur DC in Wilkes-Barre, PA, via the carrier f yur chice. Fr all ther shipments, see ur FOB terms starting n page 4 befre prceeding further. If yu are shipping in an area we define as a cnslidatin area, yu must pay the freight int ne f ur cnslidatrs (see FOB terms). If the shipment exceeds LTL guidelines n page 8, use a Vlume Lad Wrksheet, page 14, therwise nte the fllwing: Fr the NJ Cnslidatin D nt ship any small package carrier int the cnslidatin, these carriers and any shipments frm any carrier that are less than 151 punds must nt be shipped t the NJ cnslidatinthey must be shipped PREPAID t ur Wilkes-Barre DC. Otherwise, prepaid LTL carrier selectin int the cnslidatr is at yur ptin. Fr the CA cnslidatin All freight nt prepaid t the DC ships prepaid int the cnslidatin. LTL carrier selectin int the cnslidatr is at yur ptin. If the shipment exceeds LTL guidelines n page 8, use a Vlume Lad Wrksheet, page 14. Fr all ther shipments, yu will be shipping t ur DC. See if yur ttal shipment meets small package criteria under small package ruting, page 6. If larger see LTL guidelines n page 8. If larger than LTL guidelines r LTL guidelines require, use the Vlume Lad Wrksheet, cvered under Trucklads, page 14. BILL OF LADING INSTRUCTIONS Infrmatin Required Yu are required t fllw the Bill f Lading standards published by VICS Yu must prvide all field infrmatin that is deemed "Mandatry" per VICS. In additin, yu must prvide all infrmatin that is deemed "Cnditinal" per VICS, as apprpriate based n type f shipment. Name and address f shipper Name and address f cnsignee lcatin, including suite # & Distributin Center Number Authrizatin numbers, if prvided by the Lrd & Taylr. Unique Bill f Lading number which must match that transmitted electrnically fr ASN's Date f the shipment (picked up by carrier) All purchase rders & a Cartn r piece cunt and weight by purchase rder. Pallet/Slip indicatr (Y/N) must be indicated. Define each cmmdity with the crrect NMFC classificatin item number (with sub cde, if required) and class. Bill f Lading must state "Maintain Shipment Stre & PO Sequence". Vlume shipments: If mre than ne vehicle is required, prepare a separate Bill f Lading/ASN fr each vehicle. Page 3 f 14 1/1/18

Pallet weight must NOT be included in the ttal weight shwn n the Bill f Lading. If yu are shipping ftwear, Bts, Shes r Slippers: Describe as MNFC item 28160, Bts, NOI r Ftwear, NOI, ther than hsiery r Shes, NOI r Slippers. Fr Clthing classificatin, see nte n page 10 FOB TERMS FOB terms, ther than fr cnslidatins r cmmercial znes, if nt extant, are negtiated at the time f purchase. In all cases the FOB pint must be a U.S.A. address. Fr the definitin f ur cnslidatin znes & freight terms within ur cnslidatin znes, see FOB Cnslidatr, belw. If terms are nt specifically addressed n a purchase rder, the assumptin is FOB destinatin, freight prepaid by the shipper. Freight terms ther than thse listed belw, must be negtiated with the Transprtatin Manager prir t shipping. FOB terms that result in freight prepaid by the shipper, but added t merchandise invice r inviced separately, are prhibited unless an authrizatin number has been btained frm the Transprtatin Department. FOB Destinatin Freight prepaid. The shipper may use any mde r carrier it chses. We strngly recmmend yu use the same carriers used fr cllect shipments. These carriers prvide the mst reliable transit service t ur facilities. FOB Cnslidatr Where Lrd & Taylr has a cnslidatin (as defined belw), freight must be delivered prepaid t this facility frm all shippers lcated within the area Lrd & Taylr designates as the cnslidatin zne. Cllect terms n Purchase Orders with freight riginating in the afrementined areas means prepaid t ur cnslidatr and cllect frm the cnslidatr t the DC. Fr the New Jersey cnslidatin, Lrd & Taylr defines this area as all 5 brughs f New Yrk City, Westchester, Rckland, Lng Island and all f New Jersey. If yu chse nt t participate in ur cllect and charged back prgram t ur NJ Cnslidatin, prepaid carrier selectin is at yur ptin. NOTE: D nt ship any small package carrier int ur NJ cnslidatin. Ship any small package carrier shipments "PREPAID" t the Wilkes-Barre DC. All shipments f less than 151 punds must nt be shipped t the NJ cnslidatin-they must be shipped PREPAID t the Wilkes-Barre DC. Fr prepaid shipments exceeding LTL guidelines n page 8, cmplete and t us a Vlume Lad Wrksheet, see page 14. Fr the Ls Angeles cnslidatin, the free zne is recgnized as all f Califrnia and must be shipped prepaid and arrive at the cnslidatr within 24 hurs f being shipped. All f Califrnia is t be ruted prepaid t the cnslidatr in Ls Angeles, prepaid carrier selectin is at yur ptin. If the shipment exceeds ur maximum LTL guidelines fr CA n page 8, please cmplete and t us a Vlume Lad Wrksheet, see page 14. FOB Origin Freight cllect. Lrd & Taylr pays all freight charges as lng as its ruting instructins are fllwed. Freight must be shipped cllect. D nt ship prepaid and add the charges t an invice. Nte: In areas where Lrd & Taylr has a cnslidatin, terms are FOB cnslidatr, nt FOB Origin, see FOB Cnslidatr, abve. Page 4 f 14 1/1/18

5 RETURNS, FOB DESTINATION All returns are shipped prepaid and the freight including surcharges (e.g., fuel) will be charged back where apprpriate. All discrepancies must be reprted within 30 days f receipt. Failure t reprt within 30 days, will exempt Lrd & Taylr frm liability. If yu return any prtin t Lrd & Taylr, include cpies f riginal paper. UCC-128 CARTON LABELS - PACKING SLIPS Lrd& Taylr requires every shipment t have an accurate VICS 856 cartn level advance ship ntice/manifest with a UCC-128 shipping cartn label. (See the Lrd & Taylr Vendr Manual at Ship, pack, and invice by stre. PACKING/PALLETIZING INSTRUCTIONS Ship nly 1 department, purchase rder, stre per cartn. LTL shipments f clthing must have a density f 6 punds per cubic ft. See page 10 Palletized lads must nt have stres scattered thrughut the pallets and shuld minimize the number f pallets used. Each pallet must have a label displaying the Vendr Name, Lg r Abbreviatin, each PO and the number f cartns fr that PO: Pallet Label Sample Maximum pallet height, including cartns and pallet, is 84 inches, prvided cartns d nt crush. Use standard 40x48 pallets. D nt allw cartns t verhang the edges f any pallets. When palletizing, use pallets that weigh 45 punds r less. Master Packing: If merchandise rdered fr a stre will result in a less than minimum size cartn r minimum weight cartn, masterpack (grup) stre cartns int larger (masterpack) cartns. Each individual cartn inside a masterpack cartn must be labeled as previusly defined and the utside f the masterpack must be labeled "MASTERPACK and have the Purchase Order number, ttal inside cartn cunt, & individual Stre Numbers listed n the utside f the cartn. Fr trucklad & less-than-trucklad shipments, please describe n the BOL each PO and the number f inner cartns being shipped. If the cartns still fail t meet the minimum requirements, cntact the traffic department t btain an authrizatin number. t Traffic.LT@lrdandtaylr.cm. Bulk shipping is nt allwed. Use cartns that fit the merchandise. RETURNS Returns made fr any reasn will be made n a prepaid basis via ur carriers and where apprpriate, freight will be added t the debit at full class rates including surcharges (e.g., fuel). CLAIMS POLICY Fr shipments which are FOB rigin, freight cllect, and prperly ruted, Lrd & Taylr files against the carrier. All ther shipments, Lrd & Taylr will charge the shipper fr any shrtages r damages, and the shipper must file claim against the carrier. In that case, submit a Vlume Lad Wrksheet (page 14). SMALL PACKAGE FEDEX GROUND Refer t Small Package Min/Max Schedule n page 7 fr cartn & weight restrictins. Fr shipments ver these limits, refer t LTL instructins, page 8. Make sure yu include the suite # n the shipping label n the same lines as ur address (250 Highland Park Blvd. Suite 1). Failure t cmply will result in a cmpliance chargeback. When shipping Fed-Ex, d nt use cartns that wuld be dimensinalized: charged at a higher weight rate based n size. Fr details g t: Fed-Ex shipments may nt be shipped n cnsecutive days. Exceptins must be authrized by Transprtatin. Shipping Friday and Mnday are nt cnsidered cnsecutive days. When freight terms are cllect, Fed-Ex shipments are sent cllect. Ship cllect, bill recipient: Place Accunt number in the field fr recipient's accunt number. Unless air is authrized ship Fed-Ex GROUND. T btain ur Fed-Ex accunt number, Traffic.LT@lrdandtaylr.cm, specify Vendr Name, PO number, rigin, cartn ttal & weight. Lrd & Taylr s PO# must be inserted in reference field #1 and the department # in reference field #2. Enter nly numbers with n spaces r characters. If the number f cartns yu are shipping are within the minimum and maximum weight chart listed belw, ship FED- EX GROUND. If the cartns r weight exceed the maximum, fllw the LTL instructins n page 8. DO NOT USE FOR CA OR all 5 brughs f New Yrk City, Westchester, Rckland, Lng Island and all f New Jersey. 10 LTL CARRIERS & CONSOLIDATIONS INFORMATION Nte n clthing: Fr LTL carriers nly nt Cnslidatins r trucklads As f 12/25/10 - New Rules will be in effect fr LTL rates n Clthing (NMFC item 49880) Clthing is nw a dimensinalized cmmdity: T avid higher rates, all cartns f clthing must weigh at least 6 punds per cubic ft. T check yur punds per cubic ft, yu must knw the cartn dimensins (Length, Width & Height, r L,W,H) & the weight f the cartn. Here is a methd fr the calculatin f punds per cubic feet, using the Length, Width & Height in inches: Multiply LxWxH and divide the result by 1728 the result f this is the cubic feet f the cartn. Divide the weight f the cartn by the cubic feet f the cartn t find the punds per cubic ft f the cartn. If the punds per cubic feet is less than 6, yu need t put mre garments in the bx, r use a smaller bx, limited by ur cartn size guidelines n page 6. NOTE: It is pssible that the ttal weight f yur entire shipment divided by the ttal cubic feet f yur entire shipment may reach 6 punds per cubic ft, even if sme individual cartns d nt reach 6 punds per cubic ft. This is acceptable. If yur freight is n pallets, yu must use the pallet dimensins in the measurements. D nt put shipments n pallets, if this will reduce the punds per cubic feet t less than 6. Hwever, if yu are unable t have yur shipment reach 6 punds per cubic ft, yu must btain an authrizatin number frm the Traffic Department befre shipping. us at traffic.lt@lrdandtaylr.cm. Include PO#, cartn dimensins & weight. All bills f lading must shw the actual density r density grup (NMFC sub cde). All packaging must meet NMFC requirements All packages must be securely clsed with reinfrced tape nt less than 3 inches wide. Fr LTL and Cnslidatr shipments vendrs have an hur t cmplete the lading prcess nce the carrier arrives. Freight must be ready t be laded when the carrier arrives. Carrier has the right t leave the pickup, shuld we incur any charges they will be passed alng t the vendr. FTL yu have 2 hurs t cmplete the lading prcess. TRUCKLOAD Fr any shipments abve the Less Than Trucklad parameters shwn n page 8, prvide all infrmatin n Vlume Lad Wrksheet, n page 14. the cmpleted frm t the Transprtatin Dept. 48 hurs in advance f pick-up (See Cntact List n page 13 fr address). T use the Vlume Lad Wrksheet, keep it as an Excel file, save it n yur PC with a new name r add a date t ur name, fr example: Vlume Lad Wrksheet xls. After filling in the infrmatin, re-save the file & then attach it t yur . If yu are unable t use , yu may use the fax number shwn. Yu will then be ntified f the designated carrier fr this lad. 12 If yu d nt receive a ruting with 48 hurs f submitting a Vlume Lad Wrksheet, ntify the Transprtatin Manager. the signed bill f lading immediately after shipping t: LT-Receiving@lrdandtaylr.cm. Nte the trailer # n the BOL. Insure that the trailer is sealed, and the seal number and trailer number are bth n the Bill f Lading. Failure t seal a trailer can result in claims being filed against yu, nt the carrier. Palletized lads, must be built with UCC-128 barcde labels facing ut n each pallet. Any stre with 100 r mre cartns, shuld be individually palletized fr csmetics, husewares, dmestics, china/glassware. Additinal pallet instructins are n page 5. Flr lads must be built with UCC-128 labels facing dr f trailers. Cartns shuld be numbered sequentially, with lt # by stre. D nt declare/released value n trucklad shipments. AIR Allwed nly if: (1) vendr absrbs 100% f the cst; (2) vendr equalizes air freight cst t the grund equivalent f ur grund carriers; r (3) specific authrizatin by shipment has been granted by the Lrd & Taylr's Transprtatin Department. Yu must cntact the Transprtatin Department fr apprval an all air shipments at traffic.lt@lrdandtaylr.cm.
