1 3.0 Vendr Ticketing & Labeling Requirements (DSW Retail) 3.1 Ftwear Vendrs UPC Label example belw is used fr 832 UPC enabled Ftwear vendrs. If a vendr is set up t use UPC cdes, the prduct must be labeled with the vendr s UPC cdes. The UPC cde adhesive label shuld be placed in the lwer right-hand crner f the small side f the she bx The fllwing is a suggested label size. The lg shuld nt be cvered up by the label. Use a smaller size label if necessary as lng as the fllwing cnditins are met. UPC cde must scan UPC cde numbers must be readable (in case they must be keyed in.) The size / width are clearly readable The clr descriptin is n the label Suggested label sizes X r 3.5 cm X 11 cm. *The half size shuld be written as a fractin ½ nt as a decimal 0.5 DSW must lad the vendr s UPC cdes frm an n-line catalg r via 832 direct. 4 DSW DSW Internatinal DSW.cm Affiliated Business Grup Labeling f bt bxes fr Tall Bts: UPC stickers shuld be n bth the lng and shrt ends f the bt bxes that g n the selling flr, nt the uter shipping cartns. If the prduct is Wide Width r Wide Calf, these stickers shuld als be applied t bth the lng and shrt ends f the bt bxes. It is imperative that the sizes such as 6M r 6W r 6M-WC/6W-WC are cded n the utsle and the inside lining f every bt/btie. These stickers shuld als be applied t any rders fr DSW.cm bts/bties. If the gds are returned t ur retail stres the bxes will be crrectly marked and g easily int the shelves. We recmmend a minimum weight/quality f bt bxes shuld be 300g = E-Flute Crrugated. 5 3.3 Barcde Specificatins The barcde label backgrund must be white. Clear backgrund is nt acceptable. 3.4 Accessry Vendrs Retail Price tickets (tags r labels) are used fr all retail nn-ftwear prducts and are pre-ticketed by the vendr. If the vendr is set up fr UPC cdes, then the UPC cde must be n the prduct r n the apprved DSW price ticket. Accessry prduct price stickers/labels must be placed n the vendr s hangtag r n the accessries prduct bx. D nt place retail price tickets n the plastic bags that are wrapped arund the prduct Labels need t be placed n the package in a manner which des nt bscure merchandise descriptin r usage infrmatin. Price tickets are applied in additin t the vendr s UPC barcde The 7 digit DSW SKU number is nt available until all PO infrmatin has been prvided and/r cnfirmed and the PO has been prcessed in ur system. The ticket type t be used will appear n the PDF cpy f the PO under Vendr Instructins. 832 UPC enabled vendrs shuld nt place the price labels ver their UPC Cdes DSW ticket type 9 r 10 shuld be used if UPC cdes are n a separate label/hang tag DSW ticket type 20 r 21 has DSW infrmatin and the vendr s UPC cde n them Hangtag Price Tickets require using a nyln lcking lp and attaching it t the same side f the prduct as the vendr s hangtag, nrmally n the right hand side DSW.cm prducts, with the exceptin f hsiery, d nt require a price ticket/label. If the vendr is set up fr UPC cdes, then the UPC cde label must be n the prduct. DSW.cm Accessries prduct must have a scan able UPC label n the plybags. Vendrs are free t prduce merchandise tickets lcally using Cmpany supplied frmatting dcuments. Ticket frmat infrmatin such as SKU cnversin and UPC calculatr are lcated n the DSW Merchandising web page at: Vendrs wishing t prduce tickets internally will need t submit samples prir t applicatin. Vendrs are respnsible fr administratin and management f trading partner agreements with their selected service prvider. The Cmpany des nt recmmend nr require the use f any particular service prvider, but can prvide assistance in the establishment f a ticketing prgram.
