3 1.0 Background Section 1.1 O2E Brands Project & Background O2E Brands (Ordinary to Exceptional) is based in Vancouver, BC, and includes three uniquely branded companies GOT- JUNK?, WOW 1 DAY PAINTING and You Move Me. They are leaders in customer experience, innovation and franchise development with combined revenue of over $150M. Together, the companies aim is to make the ordinary businesses of junk removal, painting and moving exceptional. O2E Brands was running multiple websites across several brands, operating on a variety of platforms, with sites built on Drupal, Wordpress, custom CMS, and custom HTML / CSS / PHP / JS. In many cases the sites were designed and built by different vendors and therefore lacked consistency. Some sites were responsive while others were desktop only, causing significant difficulties in managing, maintaining and publishing content. Appnovation s team of consultants, solution architects, and developers were very knowledgeable and professional. They did a fantastic job of guiding our team through the decision making process and throughout the whole engagement. 4 2.0 Solution Section 2.1 Consulting & Architecture Review Appnovation provided strategic business consulting and a rigorous architecture review on their current web properties and IT infrastructure. Appnovation utilized an architecture trade-off matrix methodology to provide the best possible options to support O2E Brands web and marketing strategies. O2E Brands examined a number of options, and selected Drupal as their content management system (CMS). O2E Brands s decision to use Drupal for their was based on several factors. Drupal offers a highly flexible appearance and layout that is user friendly and has a reliable editorial user interface. It also gives O2E Brands an enterprise-class Business Technology infrastructure that can scale with, and support their ambitious business growth and expansion plans. 5 3.0 Results Section 3.1 Results As a result of implementing this new web and IT infrastructure, Appnovation was able to successfully reduce a substantial amount of O2E Brands technical debt from the previous implementations. O2E Brands has now gained a competitive advantage with their scalable, flexible and easily maintainable web and IT infrastructure. This will provide consistency, quality, and efficiency across each web property and significantly increase the reliability to each sites performance. O2E Brands now has the ability to increase business agility, and to respond to market opportunities with speed, responsiveness, and creativity. O2E Brands has realized significant benefits from their relationship with Appnovation and they now have a platform that will allow O2E Brands to take their business and customer experience to the next level. 3.0 Results P.5
