3 Website and Digital Manager Sydney, NSW v Full time, Fixed Term - 2 year contract v The IT Team at CanTeen have an ambitious IT Strategy to deliver over the next 18 months. A key focus of this strategy is our website and other digital assets, which are the primary way we engage with the Young People we support, donors, health workers, parents and other stakeholders. In order to achieve this ambitious strategy, are looking to grow our team to include a Website and Digital Manager to manage and drive the website and digital strategy forward. As the Website and Digital Manager you will be responsible for all of Canteen's websites and related digital assets. You will manage the web agency and ensure industry best practices are applied in relation to CanTeen s digital assets. You will use tools such as Google Analytics to measure and improve the effectiveness of CanTeen s website. You will also monitor and improve our SEO rankings. v In addition to the day to day website management and optimisation the Website Manager will play a key role in the delivery of several innovative web & digital offerings over the next months. You are experienced in managing software development projects, with a minimum of 3 years experience managing web projects. You have experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and have experience in an agile or DevOps environment. You have an understanding of what makes good web design and are passionate about delivering an outstanding user experience. You know how to improve website effectiveness and SEO performance and will advocate strongly for the changes needed. You have extensive experience in managing complex websites, not just content management and v you are comfortable managing a large pipeline of web projects. You have strong leadership and communication skills and are comfortable with managing competing stakeholder priorities. 4 Reports to: IT Director Positions reporting into this one: None Key working relationships: Manager IT Development Projects, Head of Marketing and Communications, Head of Individual Giving, Head of Partnerships, Division Managers, Online Support Platform Manager, Online Community Coordinator, Manager Strategic Projects Website Schedule projects and releases Attend sprint planning meetings and prioritise work with the development team, based on priorities from CanTeen stakeholders Communicate status of projects and releases to CanTeen stakeholders Capture requirements from internal stakeholders and work with the web agency to deliver on them Manage the backlog of bugs and issues, in collaboration with CanTeen stakeholders Manage the web agency day to day to ensure delivery of planned work Manage all website releases from CanTeen s side Ensure quality of delivery Ensure security of the website is adequately maintained Act as the key point of contact between CanTeen stakeholders and the web agency Manage content (as required) Manage website users (under direction of Sys Admin) Manage vendors to ensure patching of all related systems is kept up to date Manage website incidents (escalate as required) Digital Key member of the Digital Strategy Group to help drive new ideas Work with the IT Director and key stakeholders to help create a Digital Strategy and deliver elements of this strategy as required Lead implementation of new website initiatives related to fundraising and marketing objectives Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in the digital landscape Data/Analytics Manage website SEO (monitor performance, responsible for ongoing optimisation with assistance from SEO agency) Set up, track and analyse website performance metrics (using GA goals and other relevant statistics). Track and analyse campaign effectiveness Improve performance of website based on metrics

5 Qualifications A tertiary qualification in a information technology/web related field Knowledge/Skills/Experience Minimum 3 years experience managing websites or working in a digital agency Experience in delivering multiple website projects working with various stakeholders Familiarity with the software development cycle, particularly in an Agile or DevOps environment Passionate about delivering a good user experience Awareness of website accessibility standards Working knowledge of digital marketing Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics Working knowledge of SEO Excellent understanding of software change management and release best practices Excellent management of website changes and releases with vendors Familiar with website basics HTML, CSS, etc Desirable Experience using JIRA and Confluence Knowledge of SEM (especially Google AdWords or AdGrants) Experience with automated testing frameworks for websites Experience working with WordPress Personal A self starter, disciplined and determined approach Professionalism and attention to quality and detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Innovative and creative approach High level of integrity, honesty and commitment Highly motivated team player, with a flexible attitude Results and solution focused Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude

6 Whilst the role is predominantly Monday-Friday office hours, due to the nature of CanTeen s work, you may sometimes be required to work weekends and evenings. Advance notice will be given when this is the case, and CanTeen has a generous Time off in Lieu policy for taking leave when hours in excess of the standard working week are worked. The position is based in the Sydney office; however attending meetings with vendors in different locations may be required from time to time. As CanTeen s work involves employees being in direct contact with children and young people, employees are required to complete police and working with children checks, relevant to the State in which they will be employed. CanTeen will conduct at least two reference checks on successful applicants, and may also require proof of any professional qualifications stated on an application.
