JOB REQUIREMENTS Key result area 1 Social Media, content & digital Key tasks: Identify and execute elements of the social media plans to optimise engagement of participants in our fundraising activities, events and services department Manage strategic approach to developing online and social media, including by developing and implementing an online and social media strategy. Source, produce and distribute relevant, timely and engaging content (including multimedia) for use on website and social media pages. Manage and monitor social media pages, including by creating and editing content for posting. Create digital communications campaigns that promote the work of MS Analyse effectiveness of digital channels and reach of social media and make recommendations to enhance these and about uptake of other emerging technologies and channels. Work collaboratively to ensure synchronised approach taken to traditional and social/online content within Marketing & Communications Team. Work collaboratively with other units across MS to assist with digital promotion and marketing. Develop, implement and analyse social media campaigns, provide insights and learnings to the business and continue to drive optimization and growth. Establish and supervise community management model in local markets, ensuring strong community service, positive sentiment and brand experiences for our community Develop and maintain strong relationships with key social media influencers and key platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat and YouTube. Social media content is on brief and delivered to agreed timelines. Social media, content & digital outputs are delivered to deadlines and on budget. Event participant sales are in line with forecast. Social media strategies are developed and implemented in accordance with the marketing plan. Reporting is conducted to analyse success of campaigns with support from Marketing Communications Manager, Post event surveys and other methods of insight gathering are conducted with actionable outcomes Each piece of content has a clear call to action with a pathway back to the MS organisation. Staying up to date with technology and changes in the social media landscape 2

3 Key result area 2 Relationship management Key tasks: Identify, develop and nurture the MS Community and manage key relationships including ambassadors, agencies, internal and external stakeholders Identify, develop and nurture the MS community on social media pages to support marketing activities for major events, event participants and fundraisers, with support from Marketing & Communications Manager and wider internal team where applicable Manage relationships with external agencies to develop and execute social media plan. Develop strong internal relationships with Service Innovation, Events and Customer Engagement teams to generate story ideas, research and produce content. With the assistance of the MS Ambassador Program Co-ordinator manage event ambassadors including celebrity ambassadors, MS ambassadors, event fundraisers, MS community members and other key stakeholders on social media. Increase levels of engagement on social media pages with increased followers. Achieving targets across all events via social media & digital marketing. Agency relationships assist to achieve KPI s A good understanding of MS Services and strong communications around how funds raised help people living with multiple sclerosis Ambassadors stories are used in each campaign to educate customers on multiple sclerosis Key result area 3 Reporting and administration Key tasks: Work with Marketing Communications Manager, Customer Engagement and MS Advisory Councils to identify unmet content needs and fill the gap. Develop a strategy to grow subscribers and engagement for all key social media channels, with a particular focus on event registration Post event surveys and other methods of event analysis are conducted to provide feedback to internal and external stakeholders for improvements Social media & digital campaigns are reported on to evaluate their effectiveness with support from the Marketing Communication Manager Ensure clear goals and outcomes are defined for each channel in line with organisational strategy; regularly assess channels against these. Participate in team planning for services & events and associated activities Assist to manage budgets, process invoices for social, digital & content. Collaboration between internal teams is conducted Strategies are in place to grown channels Channels are regularly reviewed for effectiveness and recommendations are made for continuous improvement. Social media reports are circulated to internal stakeholders with key recommendations Budgets are met and invoices are processed in a timely manner Marketing insights and research is captured and analysed. 3

ENVIRONMENT AND WORK ACTIVITIES DIMENSIONS All physical requirements of this role must take into account rest periods and the appropriate use of equipment supplied. MS team members are required to comply with the organisation s policies and procedures governing health and safety including manual handling. SELECTION CRITERIA Essential: Relevant Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred Digital and social media expertise and experience required Feel for graphics/ illustration, creative approach and the passion for storytelling Ideally a minimum of 3-4 years of marketing related experience (preferred focus digital, advertising or content marketing) Proven content production experience, in both print and digital channels, including an excellent understanding of social media & digital Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within fast paced, diverse cross functional teams Demonstrated decision making and time management skills with strong attention to detail Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Project management experience and a strong ability to set priorities, establish process or drive improvements on existing methods Desirable: Previous experience working at a not-for-profit Strategic thinker G.
