2 ABOUT THE OPPORTUNIT The National Tour Guiding Conference is the first annual conference to bring together tour guides and businesses who employ, utilise and support tour guides from across the country. The event is being organised by the US Connections Project; Destination Plymouth, Cambridge & Beyond and 12 further destination organisations. Event sponsorship provides an opportunity for you to raise awareness of your service, product, destination and brand. 3 ABOUT The US Connections project seeks to develop immersive bookable product for the inbound US visitor market. US Visitors are seeking new experiences in England, and tour guides provide an important part of that experience. Knowledgeable, professional guides can bring a region, a story and history to life in an engaging memorable way. They provide local knowledge and insight and are important ambassadors for the country and our regions. The National Tour Guiding Conference aims to support tour guiding businesses, operators and guiding volunteers to bring to life new visitor experiences and enhance the current product that will support new thematic itineraries being developed by the US Connections project. The event will bring together the tour guiding sector for engagement, networking, learning and development of tour guiding and support development of innovation in guiding. This conference offers sponsors the prospect of reaching the guiding sector to promote services and products in addition to highlighting your brand prior, during and post event.

Hosted in Drapers Hall, a stunning historic venue in the heart of London, the conference will discuss key aspects around the UK tour guiding industry.

The conference will focus on raising awareness of USA market insights while providing workshops to discuss and deliver an understanding of innovation, best practice, international marketing, online booking platforms and support within the tourism industry. Keynote speakers from nationally renowned brands will be sharing their knowledge and insights with the delegates, while seminar sessions and panels will provide more detailed insights. Optional tours of this unique historic venue and the surrounding City of London will be available.to attendees.
