3 What is the DOP Annual Conference? The Division of Occupational Psychology Annual Conference is the largest annual gathering of occupational psychologists in the UK and provides a major showcase for practitioners and academics to present their latest ideas. Our vision for the DOP Annual Conference is to be the conference of choice for all psychologists focusing on the world of work. We see the conference as providing an opportunity for these professionals to obtain insight into current ideas, discussions and research in the area, and network with others in the field. Who attends the DOP Annual Conference? Over 186 organisations were represented at the 2018 DOP Annual Conference, including academic institutions (UK and international), well-known occupational psychology consultancies and independent consultants, as well as major employers of occupational psychologists (in both the public and private sector). In total, there are around 400 delegates at the Conference. The conference will primarily give you an opportunity to meet occupational psychologists, as well as academics and postgraduates of psychology with particular interest in application of psychology to the workplace. The lecture programme includes internationally renowned keynote speakers. Additionally, there will be a mix of workshops, symposia, individual papers and posters presented, plus social activities and networking opportunities. The event will also be publicised on the Society website and in The Psychologist, the monthly publication sent to all members of the society. About the DOP Annual Conference 2019 The DOP conference attracts practitioners and academics from around the world as well as top keynote speakers and presentations on recent research. The 2019 conference theme is Thriving at work. What does Thriving at Work mean and what needs to be in place for it to happen? Our DOP conference theme for 2019 reflects the contribution that we, as occupational psychologists, can make in the workplace as we are uniquely placed to support individuals and organisations to thrive.

6 Extended Sponsorships and Extras Keynote Sponsor 900 There will be five keynote speakers over the three days, and this sponsorship offers you the opportunity to sponsor their talks. Your organisation will be linked to their talk throughout publicity for the conference and at the conference. Keynote sessions will also be filmed for post-conference promotion. You will have a roller banner position to display (supplied by yourselves) in the main session room, next to/ on the main stage. You will receive further acknowledgment from the BPS on social media before and after each keynote. Careers Forum Sponsor 700 Sponsor this popular event where experts in the field give presentations about their organisation, current and future opportunities, and their own personal careers experience. Your company will be linked to the Careers Forum throughout the publicity for the conference and at the event.
