2 PAGE 2 Global innovation: CMA CGM develops AQUAVIVA, a new generation of containers to transport live lobsters The CMA CGM Group launches AQUAVIVA, a new generation of containers which allows for the safe carriage of live lobsters in their original water in conditions maintaining their natural habitat. The development of this global innovation relies on CMA CGM s Reefer specialist expertise and the unique technology INNOPURE, developed by EMYG Environnement & Aquaculture. Read further Service developments on North Europe / Mediterranean trade With the aim to keep always improving our network and coverage of the North Europe / Mediterranean trade we are happy to announce to you the following developments. Launching of Baltic Levant service: Baltic Levant will run the first and unique loop in the market offering a direct service from St Petersburg to the Levant area. In addition we will offer a direct weekly product linking 4 North European ports (Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Le Havre) with the main ports in this part of the Mediterranean area, namely Alexandria, Beirut, Mersin and Aliaga. Southbound: For those ports not offered on a direct basis Malta will be the hub through which cargo will be channeled. Please bear in mind that we will now offer 3 sailings per week through Baltic Med, FAL1 and FEMEX1 linking North Europe with Malta. Northbound: The calls at Tangiers and Valencia on the Westbound route will enable to connect the various services of the company saving in most cases one transshipment against what offered today.

3 PAGE 3 Valencia and Cartagena will constitute 2 ports of discharge to offer from East Med but should also be used to offer loading possibilities on the Northbound route to North European and Baltic destinations. New FEMEX1 service: In the meantime we will be revamping our long time standing FEMEX 1 service proceeding to a few changes. North Europe Morocco: Calls at Le Havre and Casablanca Eastbound have been added maintaining a complete coverage on the North Europe / Morocco trade even improved by a new Hamburg to Casablanca option which we were missing until now. This will also enable to offer one single transshipment service for the Scandinavian cargoes. North Europe Turkey: Aliaga call will from now be switched to our Baltic Levant service and this call will therefore be withdrawn from FEMEX1. Haydarpasa will still be offered in transshipment via Malta by our FAS fleet. We are at your disposal should you need further details. 4 PAGE 4 Femex As from week 20, we can offer service from Hamburg/Antwerp/Le Havre to Casablanca and Tanger on FEMEX 1 service effective 21/5. New service points this strong: - A direct service from Hamburg to Casablanca Transit time 8 days - A better connection and transit time from Scandinavia and Poland which has to be routed via Hamburg - Improvement of our transit time from Beanr to Macas from 9 to 6 days. - Offer the best transit time on the market from Frleh to Macas 4 days as Le Havre is the last port called in Europe and Casablanca is the first in Morocco (no port in between) Agax service As from week 20, new routing will be effective: Rouen Casablanca Tanger - Agadir Ciss service Rotation: Tilbury/Rotterdam/Hamburg/Agadir This allow us to load AGADIR cargo from (via) Nlrtm and Deham to Maaga Cargo from: BEANR to MAAGA will be barged to NLRTM to connect with CISS. 5 PAGE 5 Reefer Bookings to Yemen Effective today, CMA CGM decided to accept fresh and frozen bookings to ADEN (YEMEN) and only frozen cargo to HODEIDAH. However, we remind you that REEFER bookings for chilled goods to HODEIDAH are still rejected. We ll keep you updated of the situation. The first feeder will be the Stadt Luebeck, which will operates from Jeddah, its first voyage being on the 24th of April. 8 PAGE 8 Tariff & Surcharge Updates Ocean Freight amendments We would like to inform that, for the purpose of maintaining service quality, CMA CGM has decided to apply a general rate increase on the trade From Asia to North Europe General Rate Restoration (GRR) of USD 750/ TEU effective from the 1st of May The GRR will be applied as follows: Origin Range: from All Asian ports (including Japan, South East Asia and Bangladesh) Destination range: to all Northern European ports (including UK and the full range from Portugal to Finland/Estonia) Cargo: Dry cargo, OOG's, Paying empties, Break-bulk and Reefer cargo Date of application: 1st of May 2016, bill of lading date. 9 PAGE 9 Surcharge amendments Emergency Port Congestion Surcharge in Rades, Tunisia Vessel delays due to the port congestion in Rades (Tunisia) are causing severe disruptions of our services and additional operational costs. 10 PAGE 10 Rules & Regulations Plastic waste to India Import of plastic waste to India is subject to valid import Authorization granted by Government agencies (DGFT& MOEF). Issuance of licenses prior to loading is compulsory to avoid delays at time of clearance. Some plasticware are totally prohibited where some other grades seem to be accepted new circular has been published on 4 th April 2016 by Ministry of Environment with more details. Forwarders to make sure shippers at origin are checking with receivers if licenses are for any plastic waste booking.
