ENTER THE STAGE VISION Enter the Stage(ETS) is a community and family focussed Performing Arts Competition providing a showcase opportunity for all performing artists in a state of the art venue.

2 ENTER THE STAGE VISION Enter the Stage(ETS) is a community and family focussed Performing Arts Competition providing a showcase opportunity for all performing artists in a state of the art venue. Dancers, Vocalists, Actors and Musical Theatre students train for many years and this niche competition provides performing artists of all genres with an opportunity to showcase their talents to a specialised team of local and international adjudicators at a competition level. Last year s entries increased by 25% attracting over 5,000 performing arts students and their supportive families and friends. Now entering its third year, ETS has become an integral part of the WA performing arts calendar with exponential growth again expected for Enter the Stage WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO? Dancers and Musical Theatre students train for many, many years before they are able to showcase their talents to a specialist team of local and international adjudicators at a competition level. Our research showed that Perth performing artists wanted a high level competition at this at this time of year. An event that was well produced, technically savvy and could have the capacity to present a range of performing arts disciplines. The Enter the Stage Performing Arts Challenge was created to fill this niche in the Performing Arts calendar.

ATTENDEES & TARGET DEMOGRAPHICS Enter the Stage is now well attended over the week long competition by over 1,500 performers and in excess of 5,000 supportive family members and friends.

The market was looking for a competition and event in the middle of the year, an event that catered to the varying styles of performance.

An event that was to be held in a venue that was capable of holding large crowds with facilities that catered for their overall enjoyment of the event.

3 ATTENDEES & TARGET DEMOGRAPHICS Enter the Stage is now well attended over the week long competition by over 1,500 performers and in excess of 5,000 supportive family members and friends. Three years in to this competition, we now have the best reputation for delivering the highest quality training and events in Western Australia. We listened to what the market wanted and we delivered. The market was looking for a competition and event in the middle of the year, an event that catered to the varying styles of performance. An event that had incredible production value, a panel of highly respected judges (not just one). An event that was to be held in a venue that was capable of holding large crowds with facilities that catered for their overall enjoyment of the event. The market also wanted an event that was run by industry event professionals that understand the requirements of elite performers. Assist in funding Enter the Stage 2018 which will enhance the level of competition we are able to provide. 2. Provide prizes for the talented young people who compete at this elite level and are awarded the top accolades for each section at a Gala Awards night on the final evening of the competition. Parents often stay for half or full days whilst their children compete and are grateful to learn about new products and have the distraction of retail therapy whilst they wait for their child s section.
