Please attach this addendum to the Project Manual(s) in your possession. Please note the receipt of this addendum on the bid form. Add 18" vertical grab bars with additional solid wood blocking as required to meet the current IBC 2009 and 2012 refer to compliance with ICC A117.1 See attached reference drawings 2. 3 RESPONSE: a) WWF is specified, A steel fiber additive may be substituted if submitted and approved b) Sheets A3.2, A3.3 to read 6 x 6 x 2.9 x 2.9 in lieu of what is noted on these wall sections c) 5/8" exterior plywood wall sheathing to run on both side of parapet above roof line, GWB to run from FFL to underside of roof framing members. d) Detail 10 on sheet S4.00 only applies to the link that framed with 2x 12s. The rimboard should actually be 2 x12's in lieu of 2 x10's e) Refer to the attached Door Schedule for Addendum #2 f) Sheet A6.1 should be 1/8" scale in lieu of 1/4" as stated. g) Sheet P1 is work related to the basement area. This work will not interfere with WCHD day to day operations. RESPONSE: Section Earth Moving Field Quality Control; Item A. Revised to Read: The General contractor will engage qualified geotechnical engineer testing agency to perform tests and inspection BN-RFI: 09 Clarification REQUEST: The cover sheet of the soil borings call for removal of material to +/- 5 below grade and earthmoving spec , 3.16 D calls for unsatisfactory subgrade to be removed and replaced. Do we for sure include the 900 c.y. of excavation and replacement per the soil report or do we strip, excavate to footing subgrade and then consider any over-excavation as an extra to the contract. The EIFS spec , 2.2 B calls for a coating over the plywood substrate. The two following specs and are both for a building wrap meant to be applied to the same plywood. Can you please clarify, or if we re to use all three. 4
