2 SUMMARY The factory is established in five adjoined buildings and a shed. Building 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are 7(G+6), 4(B+G+2), 4(B+G+2), 3(G+2) and 2(G+1), storied respectively. Most of the production activities take place in building 1. All five buildings including the shed are owned by the factory. As reported by the Management of the factory, the buildings were constructed in 2005, 2007, 2007, 2007 and 2011 respectively. The factory started its production in building 1 in the year The building has been formally approved for industrial purpose. During the time of the Inspection, the factory accommodated a total of about 1015 workers working on regular basis. The Factory was surveyed for electrical safety by Woosun Energy and Construction Co., Ltd. (WEC). The purpose of the survey was to identify significant electrical safety issues and to provide recommendations for remediation based on applicable standards specified by the Accord. The scope of this initial electrical safety inspection was limited to the review and identification of major electrical safety issues. The inspection did not include identification of minor deficiencies, which will be further addressed as part of follow-up inspections. Table below summarizes the major electrical safety issues identified during the inspection. Recommendations have been provided to address each issue. An implementation schedule shall be developed by the factory to remediate each of the findings. The Specific timing of improvements, including any requested extensions due to design / installation constraints shall be submitted to the Accord for approval. Page 2 of 17
