JOB REQUIREMENTS Key Result Area 1 Content production to deliver event marketing and fundraising strategies Key Tasks: Determine content requirements to deliver event strategy and marketing and fundraising plans. Produce content (internally / coordinate with external agency), example: marketing and fundraising resources, video, photography, web content, cause stories, dollar handles. Review and evaluate effectiveness of content to achieve objectives Provide content expertise in development marketing and fundraising plans Job holder is successful when: Event content requirements documented and agreed Content produced and signed off Reviews complete and recommendations made Input provided Key Result Area 2 PR and media management Key Tasks: Develop PR and media plan for events and community fundraising activity to deliver strategy. Deliver approved PR and media plans Develop relationships with key media outlets Manage inbound media enquiries for event and community fundraising activities Review and evaluate effectiveness of PR & media plans against objective and budget Job holder is successful when: PR and media plan developed and approved PR and media plans delivered Relationships developed and maintained Media enquires documented and managed Reviews complete and recommendations made 3

ENVIRONMENT AND WORK ACTIVITIES DIMENSIONS All physical requirements of this role must take into account rest periods and the appropriate use of equipment supplied. MS team members are required to comply with the organisation s policies and procedures governing health & safety including manual handling. Use technology including computer, printer & photocopier, scanner, Skype, mobile phone, fax and (Outlook), Word, Excel and PowerPoint Drive vehicles transporting people or goods possibly over long distances and in all traffic and weather conditions.
