3 Hello friends! As President of the Lima Rabbit Breeders Association, I invite your club to host a specialty show with us at one or more of our upcoming shows. The Lima RBA has been in existence since 1916, and we are very proud that our club has been promoting the hobby for 101 years! Our members and show committee work hard to present quality shows that exhibitors and judges alike will want to return to year after year. We routinely hire judges that aren t regularly seen in this area as everyone always enjoys seeing a fresh face behind the judging table. Each year our club hosts a spring and fall double open/youth rabbit and cavy show. We currently set up 13 rabbit and 2 cavy judging tables and have access to several more should the need arise. We recently made a major equipment investment and now offer 12 scales so that every judging table will have easy access to one. And, our club also provides mats for the judges to stand on while working. Added to this, our shows feature a large raffle, silent auction, and a tasty kitchen. We vary our awards from show to show to keep our exhibitors interested, and we even offer a decorated photo area for folks to take pictures of their winners on. Our new home is the Auglaize County Fairgrounds in Wapakoneta,. Many hotels and restaurants are located within a 5 minute drive. The fairgrounds itself is located just off US 33 and can be seen from the highway. It is less than 5 minutes west of I-75. I-70 to the south is only 45 minutes away and US30 to the north is 30 minutes away. So as you can see, our show is very easy to reach. The show room itself offers just over 19,000 square feet of space with plenty of ventilation and good lighting. I m very proud of our show committee. Our two superintendents have many years of experience serving as officers and managing shows. Our show secretary has served as secretary for many all-breed shows, including 10 years with the State RBA Mini Convention. The fee to host a show with the Lima RBA is $50 per station; however, half of that will be returned to your club once the show begins on time. The Lima RBA handles all set up and tear down. All you have to do that day is concentrate on running your show and having fun. Of course, your club will be responsible for sanctions, paper work, awards, and judges. Friends, the Lima RBA welcomes your club to host a show with us. Our members, board, and show committee will do everything within their power to see that your members and exhibitors have a wonderful experience in Wapakoneta. 4 Show Location Wapakoneta, Auglaize County Fairgrounds 1001 Fairview Drive, The Auglaize County Fairgrounds is nestled off US 33, with easy access from Interstate 75. Miller Buildings 19,00 Square Feet The Miller Building is the county s swine barn with many bay doors. Ventilation The Miller Building has big fans with access to additional fans. 2 Buildings Connected The Miller Building is one of the newer buildings on the fairgrounds.

12 Lima Rabbit Breeders Association Promoting the hobby since 1916 Website: Show Secretary: Amanda Behee Breed Specialty Agreement This agreement entered on the date of [DATE AGREED] between the [SPECIALTY SPONSOR CLUB NAME] and Lima Rabbit Breeders Association to host a single specialty show on [SHOW DATE] at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds in Wapakoneta,. SPECIALTY SPONSOR CLUB NAME] shall be responsible for obtaining ARBA and specialty club sanctions, show paperwork, and awards. The [SPECIALTY SPONSOR CLUB NAME] shall be held responsible for hiring a judge not hired by Lima Rabbit Breeders Association on the show date of Lima RBA s double all-breed show. The specialty show shall start an hour before the double all-breed show begins. If multiple specialty club hosts hire the same judge, Lima Rabbit Breeders Association reserves the right to begin the all-breed show before the specialty show. If the specialty show is held the day before the all-breed show, Lima Rabbit Breeders Association and [SPECIALTY SPONSOR CLUB NAME] shall come to an agreement on the specialty hours. [SPECIALTY SPONSOR CLUB NAME] shall make payment to the Lima Rabbit Breeders Association on [SHOW DATE] of $50.00 for a facility charge which includes the setup, teardown and usage of Lima Rabbit Breeders Association equipment. [SPECIALTY SPONSOR CLUB NAME] shall receive a discount of $25.00 providing the specialty show begins by Lima RBA s requested specialty start time.
