4 POSITIONS REPORTING DIRECTLY TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES MANAGER Team Leaders x 3: Settlement Services overseeing the NSW Settlement Partnership program funded by Settlement Services International Youth Services overseeing the Settlement Youth activities, Youth in Transition Program (ending 30 June 2018), Homelessness Project (subcontracted by Mission Australia, ending 30 June 2017), Youth on Track Program (subcontracted by Mission Australia, ending 30 June 2020), Links to Learning (funded by the Department of Education, ending term ). Women & Families Services funded by FACS (Early Intervention) also overseeing the Investing in Women business (ending December 2017). KEY PURPOSE The Community Services Manager is part of the organisation s Leadership team. It leads the Community Services Team of the organisation that currently services the Outer West and Penrith/Nepean regions. The Community Services Manager is fully accountable for the accuracy, validity and integrity of the content of the advice provided and work performed and has the authority to determine day-to-day work priorities, allocated duties and decisions relating to the quality and conduct of its projects. The position is fully accountable for the management of the unit and provides leadership, direction and motivation to staff, ensuring that the team is working effectively together. The position requires an in-depth community development approach and meaningful building of relevant partners to ensure it meets specific WorkPlan outputs as well as innovative projects to assist organisational representation and community needs. The position operates under limited direction and consults with the CEO on major issues arising during the work performed.
5 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Support the CEO by Ensuring compliance of all governance requirements; Ensuring that the Division operates in an efficient and rigorous manner; Coordinate the collection and analysis of financial, budget and business performance information and liaise and coordinate information between other managers to contribute to informed decision making; Ensure the Community Engagement services policy frameworks, financial, asset and people management practices are aligned to business needs and requirements; Ensure that the target group needs are delivered in a timely and high quality fashion; Lead and coordinate Community Services projects in an innovative manner; Drive high level people, learning and development across the team, and implement a performance culture through a range of change strategies; Drive communication strategies to deliver brand and positive community engagement opportunities with all stakeholders; Co-ordinate the implementation, monitoring and reporting of corporate and business plans; Establish and maintain information management processes and systems to collect and analyse the Programs performance information and assist with the identification of overall trends and system responses; Develop proposals & business plans that will assist in the future planning of the Division and strategic direction; Coordinate tenders and funding applications with the team and/or the Business Manager or consultants; Represent the CEO in Community matters as required; Ensure all Policies & Procedures are kept up to date in collaboration with the peers; Ensure personal safety and have a positive attitude towards a work-life balance.

11 Engage proactively with the client groups and key stakeholders; Develop & maintain Policies & Procedures as they related to the delivery of the programs and activities by the team for approval by the Board; Be the primary contact for the Government Departments/funding bodies for the Division; Manage all negotiations on behalf of the CEO and as a representative of SWMS; Manage all aspects of the working and funding agreements in place with partner organisations; Actively monitor and maintain a Contracts register in collaboration with the CSM for all partner agreements, ensuring reviews and renewals are conducted in a timely manner. 6.
